Have something called an economy in GW2
Frazzy
GW2 really should have an economy but in order to do that you cannot make every weapon automatically perfect if you are willing to spend 20k on inscriptions/mods. Make it how Guild Wars was before it was completely ruined and greens came out, make there be no greens and golds being rare. This will actually make it so that more people are buying that who is selling...Just an idea that would make sense in an "MMO"

Or atleast make the green extremly hard to get, and just in the biggest bosses.

Thats kinda counter intuitive to the idea of making the casual friendly.
Gimme Money Plzkthx
They won't do that as it is directly against the entire idea of the game (newb-friendly). While I think inscriptions are a bit too common, greens are necessary for their marketing scheme. Regardless, there is a very low chance of this happening as newb-friendliness is practically what they market GW on.

NO,i dont want econemy, its for the fools, only npcs shoud choose prices.I dont want to pay 100k +200 ectos for the shit i want.

Eh... this do not goes with GW.
Want and economy? Go to WoW, you'll have a fun time gathering 5000 gold, heh.
Instead of that, I would add taxes and price limits sustems, to prevent the economy to distance the casual player from the 24/7 player.

Personally I like being able to easily acquire perfect weapons in ugly skins. By doing this and having the economy based around rare weapon/armor skins it does the following:
- Allows casual players to easily reach equal stats to the 24/7 players, meaning that any difference in how useful they are in a group is based mainly on their skill not the time they have spent grinding.
- By having perfect stats in many skins, you really cut down on the number of people you see using identical looking equipment.
- By having some skins being ultra rare, and thus expensive, you still give rewards to the 24/7 players.

This IS the guild wars economy whether you like it or not. Game to game you have different economies. Hell even Fable had an economy but it was different from every other game... obviously..If you dont like the economy then play a game where you like the economy.
O yea and since when did video games become about the benjamins? That is real life, we play Guild Wars to have fun not to pruely make money and gold because in the end it really doesnt mean anything.

Both inscriptions and greens did not affect the economy much. Inscriptions merely changed the emphasis to skin and req more (inscrips themselves are now worthless tho), while greens had no effect on gold prices as the "common player" would never shell out 100k + xx ectos for a perfect rare skin wep either. Greens and inscrips both did not affect the economy for rich people, but they did help the common player. win-win scenario really.

Greens are nice ^^
Inscriptions arent though, im all for perfect collector items and greens but /signed for no inscriptions ^^

First of all, why did ArenaNet feel that anyone would need 1000k in our bank space? Why did they even feel we would need (or be able to) to carry 100k on our characters? Why? When most golds when identified are worth a mere 300-400 gold to a merchant? Sure let's have our rare's and our greens, but they shouldn't be worth 1,000 times what a merchant would pay.
Inscriptions actually made it easier for the casual player to "perfect" his favorite looking skinned weapon, instead of constantly farming to get that 15>50 req8 weapon. Now all he has to do is find the appropriate skinned inscribable weapon, and apply a cheap 15>50 inscription to it. Yes 15>50 inscriptions are cheap at 5k. No they shouldn't be worth 50k. Inscriptions and mods ftw! As for greens, all you're purchasing is a name. You're buying a VW Beetle under the name Mercedes-Benz CLK 500, for an overinflated price.
