Need help! (Deep/Urgoz Factions only ele)

What is a decent build I can use if I am factions only and try to attempt one of these areas?

I don't have meteor shower, which is probably a big problem. BUT, I can use meteor and bed of coals to set ppl on a long fire duration. Breath of fire and teinai's heat is good too.

I was thinking:
E/Mo
Lava Arrows
Teinai's heat
Breath of Fire
Meteor
Bed of Coals
Fire Attunement (Total optional slot here)
Elemental Attunement
Ressurect/Rebirth/Rez chant

I'm sorry but no ... just no. I'd never urgoz with an ele with a build like that if I could help it. Maybe deep since that mission is much easier, but in urgoz, if you aren't searing flames, renewal or echo, you are so incredibly inferior to the other eles out there.

First of all, you have a bip at your back and many good non-elite energy management options (GoLE, auspicious), so elemental attunement is a complete waste of an elite. Second, AoE like teinai, breath will scatter the packs. Third, lava arrows only hits 3 things. Fourth, you don't provide enough knockdown/disruption to keep the baddies at bay.

I'm sorry that searing flames, rodgort's invocation and meteor shower arent available to you, really I am. I think Anet kinda screwed up there, honestly. It really leaves you with very few reasonable options for an ele. Perhaps if you really want to do urgoz you can bring up a different character class or acquire one of the other campaigns of guildwars. With only factions skills, you will only ever be able to go with the pugs that fail to check your skills.

If you insist on trying to wedge yourself into urgoz teams as a factions only ele then I would recommend that you at least consider these other skills:

fireball
immolate (single target but helpful vs healers)
smoldering embers (single target but helpful vs healers)
deep freeze (no water points required, only for the slow)
wards (melee, foes)
churning earth (with echo, arcane echo, although thats still AoE and not fire which plants are weak to :/ so still not great)

+w/ mesmer secondary:
arcane echo
echo
arcane mimicry
mantra of resolve/concentration
hex breaker

+w/necro secondary:
mark of pain (not many points needed in curses)

+w/rt secondary:
splinter weapon (10 in channeling needed for this)
spirit rift

Yeah I really could not of think of anything...I'm not trying to look stupid, but Factions has little to offer in good spells for eles.

However, your suggestions are pretty good, and I like them. I am trying for the deep more, since eles I think are easier to play there. Right now I have a crit barrager that works well in Urgoz. And dont give me crit barrager urgoz hate...please. Its AS effective as a ranger, and really helps get urgoz down to in the end because the greater serpent's try to remove the bleeding off of him.

I wonder how Unsteady Ground would fare? As it kd's all attacking enemies, and enemy casters often attack with their wands, while enemy wars/rangs/sins are always attacking. And then get dragon's stomp too.

Thanks a lot though. I mostly need help for the deep, since my sin can manage in urgoz well.

IM SOry but no no no.

I pull Urgoz in 1h20 min, I pull Deep in 55 min, both with pugs.

ALl you need is that :

Fire attunement
Echo
MS ( I nver accept any ELE MS less sry )
Archane echo
Glyph less
Rod Invcation
liquid flame
fireball or anything here but mending

Ive done those runs ...lots of build possible...you want to e like that specialy in deep.

Any questions ask in here as this is not a secret : That build will lead you sumwhere not the one above im sory.

Also ask eany lead if they would accept the above build....its a kick on view thing.

To the pwner build ....no offences here I hope

*sigh* ... Gore, perhaps you should read the thread before posting?

The skills you list arent available to a factions only ele. :/

And by the way, I nuke in urgoz for 50 minute runs, but I wouldnt use the ele build you post. I'd bring sf eles or renewal/resolve MS. With echo you are far too easy to victimize with interrupts, shatter enchant, and strip enchant. It simply isnt as fast.
