whats the fricken point?

i have no intention of slamming Anet but i would like to ask what is going on in their minds when they say we cant take our current pve into the next guild wars. do they expect us to start oveR? to take everything that we have been working on and throw it away? is all the work we have been doing to develop our charatcors for nothing? that is complete and total Bs i for one will no longer be a customer of gw if i have to restart and build on my pve charactors all fricking over again. does any one agree?

It's a new game, you're lucky that they're even adding in the hall of monuments so that you can carry over some of you're stuff over into the next game...

Hmmm....let's see..... Diablo...made a character, beat the game, played Sierra's expansion, waited.....Diablo 2 came out and......made a new character, spent a skillpoint in the wrong spot, CRAP!, make a new character

Why on earth would you want to take prior characters into a new, separate game? The work you have done to develop your characters benefits you in GW and marginally in GW2 if you build a monument in Eye of the North.

so your saying you just wasted a year and some of ur life to have none of it again besides a few accomplishments? great sounds like fun

besides the fact that what you do in GW1 has an inherent family knock on affect in GW2 and that will be updated as you do more with your GW1 characters after you add GW2 to your account...

You CAN take your old characters to GW2.
