Fevered Dreams?
Skycluster
I was testing out fevered dreams the other day with my heros, and it shows some promising results, spreading conditions to everything :O.
Why is it that I never see it...anywhere? Could someone tell me cause I think its a pretty good skill...

[skill]Epidemic[/skill][skill]Fevered Dreams[/skill]
Its Epidemic in elite form. Fair enough its range is bigger, but it still doesn't change that.
Main difference is, Epidemic can be timed to spread conditions when it will be most effective. Fevered just does it instantly. Can be effective.. can be useless.

No Mesmer wants to go to the Ring of Fire to cap it is my guess.
When my Mesmer gets their I'm gonna use this.

I have to admit I only used it once in a team farming build based on conditions...
and it did its job very well, but the build over-all was a failure

It could probably work well with a hero build using mass conditions, like a BHA/Barbed Arrow or Smoke Trapper ranger, a Virulence/Minion Master Necro and an Air ele. Chances are your target would probably be deadquickly... but at least the conditions would be spread everywhere.

works well on a assassin with the standard 4 attacks + blinding powder and cripply teleporty one (optional)

I tried it and found that a fevered dream is very hurtful against an enemy team...especially deep wound. >>; After which I was targeted as *Super Threat Squishy Mesmer* rather then *Squishy Mesmer* and died shortly after<Won up to 7 battles though...>. ._. I'm not going to try that again, even though it was fun, I prefer my regular build. "D Its worth a go in RA if you are bored, considering noone seems ready for the super condition spread, although occasionally monks will constantly remove the hex and you are totally useless. "D<So many hex removal spells... >>;>

well, I used it outside Mouth of Torment yesterday while farming Lightbringer points, and I must say that this skill is amazing. I had 2 heroes set up for conditions (Margrid with poison, burning, dazed, and bleeding)(Koss with deep wound, crippled, and bleeding) and then just normal henchies and Tahlkora for a monk hero.
I picked a target, cast Fevered Dreams then the cheap hex of my choice (Conjure Phantasm ftm) and then Accumulated Pain. In the middle of casting accumulated pain the heroe conditions will kick in... and then everything just dies.
So, I must say that this skill is incredibly under-used and under-appreciated.... especially since the addition of heroes.

so its main use is...if you can get people to complement the conditions for you . Daze you say? never thought of that . What an interesting idea! NOw I just need to cap it...for my pve mes -_-

It would involve creating an entire build around that 1 skill. A skill that is for all intensive purposes a very bad 1. Simple hex removal, immunity to conditions, interrupts on key skills, they all screw this over completely. While its effective, i have much more luck spreading degen with my Ranger, 2 Ranger heros and Necro hero. Least there i get Disease, Poison, Bleeding, Dazed and Burning. It may be lacking a Deep Wound or Cripple (but hey i'm sure i could go trapper instead of Burning Arrow) but if certain skills are interrupted it doesn't destroy the entire build.
That and i have plenty of interrupts
Besides, chances are by the time you've actually applied half the conditions the target would be dead and you'd have to cast it on someone else, most of those conditions aren't exactly spammable. Although i guess you could give it a damn good go with Wounding Strike on Melonni if you can bear to use her.

I've been running a Fevered dreams build with my heroes lately (PvE only)
If you want to do this, bring virulence on a MM (with shamblings for bleeding), BHA and pin down on a ranger, and choose between a fire ele for damage or an air ele for blind. Yourself, bring another 1 or 2 hexes and accumulated pain. If you have dazed and deep wound on most enemies, in combination with max degen and cripple/blind they are not much of a threat.
It works wonders in denser populated areas.
Edit: with accumulated pain you can get the deep wound on your target almost all the time (unless you are fighting Heket, but they can be killed by a naked wammo with an axe and 0 in axe mastery )

I think I like the idea of using Fevered Dreams, matter of fact I did create one just yesterday using this. So, I'm hoping I can get a group together and knock a lot of enemies out

Fevered Dreams require a pretty carefull team work, and most likelly, will require a fixed team build based around conditions. The skill is pretty good, but it will cripple your own team. Alone, it hurts little. The thing about it and conditions is that it's not so practical. Conditions deal dmg over time, so your bar will usually have less spaces for pure dmg or shutdown. In other words, it does kill, but slowly.
whatnow?
i would not state categorically that this is
