This topic is about farming Djinn's using a 55 HP Mo/N build.
Why would you want to farm these? Because these drops items that MAY salvage into sapphires or rubies.
I did not create this build; thus, I do not take any credit. This topic was created to initiate discussion and just to let players know there is an easier way to obtain these rare crafting materials rather than purchasing Trade Contracts.
Attributes:
12 Blood
14 Protection
9 Divine
11 Healing
(You can manage with the protection and healing points, just make sure you get 12 Blood and maximum of 9 energy activitating Blessed Signet).
Weapons:
Any +5 energy and 20% Enchant.
-50 HP Grim Cesta.
Kephet's Refuge for -15% DP.
Template:
[card]Protective Spirit[/card][card]Healing Breeze[/card][card]Spoil Victor[/card][card]Awaken The Blood[/card][card]Blessed Signet[/card][card]Mending[/card][card]Essence Bond[/card][card]Balthazar's Spirit[/card]
What to salvage:
Sapphire -
Ruby -
Location: Honour Hill roundabout
Usage:
Cast the 3 enchants you will maintain while running this build. Then activate Blessed Signet and proceed towards the roundabout. Head up the stairs but instead of entering the palace, make the turn into the area where the Djinns are. You will first encounter a Ruby and 2 Diamond Djinns. There will be 4 different types of monsters you will kill. Sapphire (Dervish), Ruby (Fire Elementalist), Diamond (Paragon), and Roaring Ethers (Mesmer). Fortunately, these Mesmers will not remove your enchants.
Always kill the Diamonds last and only focus on casting Spoil Victor on one Diamond at a time as they self-heal. The Rubies and Sapphires will die easily with your 14 Blood Attribute dealing 95 damage. There is a problem though, the Roaring Ethers will resurrect each other using Ressurect Signet, so you will have to kill each of them twice and they don't drop items twice. When you reach a group with a mixture of Roaring Ethers and Djinns, always go for the Djinns first. These Roaring Ethers may pose somewhat of a threat with their energy draining attacks such as Energy Surge. However, Blessed Signet and their wanding attacks should counter these. If you reach a 3 or 4 Roaring Ether group, this will prove a challenge. Just make sure you have full energy and all your enchants up before casting Spoil Victor.
Have fun, hopefully you will finally get your full set of Vabbian without looking everywhere for Trade Contracts. Should there be any issues whilst running this build please contact me via forums or in-game: Miss Adalyn.
P.S. This is my first attempt on making a build so please provide feedback! Thanks!

nice guide, but woudlent SS work better, or does it make them scatter?
Blind Gardian
Nice guide. I used to farm Dasha Vestibule(explorable) with the same build. Except I switched Life Siphon for Blessed Signet. I found it's a great way to counter all the degen and damage you're taking. Other's have posted SS Mo/N 55's, but I found SV to be more effective, though a bit slower.
Poison Ivy
Well done, out of interest how many Rubies/Sapphires average do you get per run?
Swift Thief
Would a N/Mo work?

With the roaring ethers it would be really hard to stay alive with all the e-denial skills they use, it might be possible, but you would have to avoid certain groups, and even then you might have a hard time.

Go to The Hidden City of Ahdashim. Lots of Djinns there
I farm these with 105 SoA monk, Mo/E using Searing Flames
PS. It's very fast ^^

The salvage rate for the Djinn collectables is extremely low. I farmed these guys for a few hours one night and collected ~100 of their collectables. It did not net me a single Ruby, Sapphire, or Diamond.
P.S. WTB Roaring Ether Claws! 100gp Ea!
