My 7950 vs x800

On my old comp, I ran Guild Wars max settings great.

Athlon XP 2800+
Radeon x800 pro
1 gig Ram

However, recently I upgraded my comp to something better and gave my old to my brother.

Athlon 64 3500+ (Upgrading shortly)
nVidia 7950gt
1 gig Ram

And it runs worse. I get horrible graphics lag on the above. The fps fluctuates between 10 and 30 constantly. I can run them side by side, and my old one earns at least twice the fps. Does it have something to do with nVid drivers? I've tried reformatting but to no avail.

What OS is each PC running? XP? Vista?

I'm runnig a on an Intel T7600 CPU, 7900GTX, 1 gig RAM, and Windows XP sp2. Video is a solid 40-60fps at 1920x1200.

Both are XP sp2. Both are running at 1280x1024, so it shouldn't even be taxing to the system.

I think its the nVidia drivers. I recently added a 7600GT to my pc, upgrading from an integrated 6100, i get higher fps but it doesn't run near as smoothe as the integrated one did. It should totally exceed that card with no problems...

I have Realtek High Defination Audio with JBL Platinum Series speakers, so i don't think audio is my problem. Although i only skip in towns with alot of people (Ascalon mainly), no where else.

Sorry, I was addressing the OP. The reason I ask is that several people I know have begun having performance issues with their integrated motherboard audio CODEC and Guild Wars. The speakers you're using are irrelevant.
