First off, this is my first farm build that I am posting here on guru. I take no credit for this build. I got the idea of a build I saw on wiki. Here is the build:http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Build:E/Mo_Vortex_Farmer .I just changed it because I felt some skills were not needed and I also think this one works better.

This build is farm the tormented creatures in the Realm of Torment

Attributes:

12+1+3 Earth

9+3 Energy Storage

9 Healing Prayers

Skills:

Armor of Earth
Stoneflash Aura
Healing Breeze
Sandstorm
Sliver Armor
Essence Bond (if you have good energy management switch for Churning Earth)
Aura of Restoration
Balthazar's Spirit

Weapon:

The Galigord's Stone Staff is perfect for this build.

Armor:

Tempest or Blessed is needed for the extra 10 armor for fighting the bosses and the dervishs and warriors.

I changed Ob Flesh to SS because Ob flesh is not really need sinse the damge is already 0 after you place your enchantments. I also took out churning earth as SS is a better version of it and without Essence Bond energy is very tight (well for me it is).

Steps:
Enter Domain of Fear from Gate of Fear. Cast Balthazar's Spirit and Essence Bond. Right before you aggro cast Aura of Restoration, Stoneflesh Aura, Armor of Earth and Healing Breeze. Get as close to a group of monsters and cast Sliver Armor. Find which monster is getting hurt from Sliver Armor. Wait for it's health to reach at about 50% and cast SS to finish him off. Always keep up Healing Breeze as there is some degen by bleeding and somemore as you go further and get to Shadow of Fear which use Death Nova which will give off even more degen. Bleeding and poison from Death Nova should cancel out the Healing Breeze. Most of the time the damge will be 0 but some skills can go past it and hit so Aura of Restoration is to heal that damage.

Note: Always leave some behind and pull them to the next group. If there are only 3 left, you will not have enough energy to kill them or run. Which means it is time to zone. Also the Arm of Insanity can be a problem because of Debilitating Shot. Aggro 2 groups if you can it makes killing a monster go way faster and looks really cool to see the numbers pop up.

This build can also be used to kill some of the bosses in the area.

List:

Storm of Anguish (Ele)-Hard
This is where the Shadow of fear come in and cause poison and also the boss can hit past your enchantments so try to kill hit as fast as you can. (might also be a good idea to spam Stoneflesh Aura and Healing Breeze for the health).

Seed of Suffering (Ranger)-Meduim
He might be hard to kill because of him healing himself. So go for him first and Use SS on him when every you can.

Flame of Fervor(Monk)-Easy
This boss is easy to get to and easy to kill. On this one, do everything normally, but don't cast SS (he runs away really fast). Just use Sliver Armor. You should go for him first so you have enough damge to kill him quickly. If you can't kill, just try to survive for a little longer. A patrol should come by and that should help you kill him easy.

This build can't beat Shrieker of Dread because he causes Daze and go past Healing breeze.

FAQ:

Q: Why make a build to farm tormented monsters?

A: I heard that these monsters drop some rare skins like elemental swords and obsidian version earth staff and other rare skins like the icy and feiry blade axes. You can also farm lightbringer points.

Screens:

I don't have a video of this build in action because I don't know how to make one. I just hope the pictures are enough. There is a video on the link to wiki but that is the old build.

Hope you liked my build. If this goes well I might post other builds.

Ya ive been doing this for about 2 months now, nothing really great drops xcept the golds that rarely drop. demonic relics also drop a lot. decent lb pts farming. the only thing i do differently is bring obsidian flesh and mass aggro. the monks have scorge enchantments and the mesmers hav shatter enchants. but ya this has been around for a while just not wide spread.

This build is the epitomy of grind farming. While the slowed movement due to enemy water magic is annoying, it's grinding at its finest. And will really help with LB title. You can also find some green offhands there, O_o. However, i am a little downed by the lack of...good drops. the gold/hour is roughly 10-15, with a few greens and golds possible. also, it's not bad for dyes. For the most part, i found sandstorm hurt more than helped. So i'm going to try and mess around with a different skill for that slot.

Ya this build has been around for ages, since like December, I was gonna post my build soon, but i guess you beat me.

Churning Earth is also a nice skill for substitute if your using Obsidian Flesh, but without it sandstorm is nice.

You are doing well, but really the idea of the build is to collect around 30-40 creatures on you and then kill em, not single groups.
