Hello. I've been a member of guru for a while, but I never really took much notice of this section of the forums until a month or two ago. Since then, I've been lurking quite a bit, and I have to say that I've been quite impressed. Anyway, I thought I would post a sketch of my ranger that I drew yesterday evening, and see what you all thought.

Commissions:
Ok, so here's how I think I'll try this, at least for a while: I'll do line drawings of your character for 10k, with shading for an additional 5k. I can do coloring in pen and ink upon request as well, for, say, an extra 10k?

Good detail on the obsidian armor, but the left foot seems kind of odd and the cape's folds near her right arm seem like somthing's weighing it down.

And I think I speak for everyone when I ask: Commissions?

In addition to what Jeff said, the bottom half of the legs (calves? o_O) seem kind of short to me.

The detail on the armour is amazing, great job!

Nice clean lines! Nice pose aswell.

And as always, some comments,

- The arms both look kinda off, the left seems too short, the right seems too long. I like the size of the hands though.
- I think the head is a bit too far to the right, only a tad bit though.

Nice sketch overall

it has spirit in it. ^^

Thanks for the comments, I've tried to make the changes you suggested. I feel the same way about the right arm, but when I measure them against each other, they're about the same length so I think it might be because the left is curled somewhat. Here's an updated pic, with a bit of shading:

As for commissions, I would certainly like to try. I don't normally have a great amount of free time, but if you would be willing to wait a little while I would be happy to give it a go. Does 5 or 10k sound alright for the line sketches, with perhaps a bit more for shading or color?

Since Sennyt beat me to the punch, I would like a ranger image as well. Since my guy Highwind is a treasure hunter I would prefer somthing like an adventurer or Indiana-Jones style pose.

The right underarm is too long compared to the right upper arm, I think thats the tricky part. Its only a bit too long overall. The shading work good on the left arm

perhaps u could add even a bit more shadow on the lower end of the upper arm. (to show it hanging over)

Sweet, and 20k would get u filled with commissions aswell, so if you are ever in need of money :P just raise the price.

Your work is very detailed and beautiful, a few things look a little out of proportion to me, but that could just be me.

Yea it's a neat work and well detailed, but the leg scale is somewhat short and the eyes are somewhat odd IMO.

Ah, I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Funny what you don't see, when its been right in front of you for more than an hour, eh? I think most of the problem with the legs was that the crotch was too low, so I moved it up a bit.
