Thank you Corridan for reacting on my post that i appearently posted in the wrong place before, as you kindly pointed out

Back to my burning question:
I never saw an inscription saying +30 hps or any other number of +hps.

Would it actually say that on the inscription or is there some mystical equation to it?

Example: An Inscription of mine reads
"Seize the Day" Energy +12% Energy Regeneration -1

Could it, for example, say:

"Seize the Day" Energy +12% Energy Regeneration -1
+30Hps ???

Please enlighten me peeps...

There is no inscription that adds +30hp just upgrades (adds "of Fortitude" to weapon description).

Sorry about the confusion I was mistaken when I said that it was an inscription it is actually a weapon upgrade

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Weapon_upgrades

so you have both inscriptions and weapon upgrades...and on the upgrades you have "front" and "back" upgrades is how i like to look at them for example say you have a

Zealous Falchion of Fortitude with a Strength and Honor Inscription what you really have is

a falchion (the weapon)
a zealous hilt (+1 energy on hit -1 energy regen)
a fortitude mod (+30hps) btw HPS = health points or Hit points
and a 15%dmg while health is above 50% commonly referred to 15^50

hope that makes a bit of sense....you can put upgrades on any weapon that they go on...for example a sword pommel of fortitude will go on swords etc....an axe haft of blahblah will only go on an axe where as an inscription will go on practicaly anything that has an inscription unless stated otherwise like the shield/focus item inscriptions. between the two sites that I gave you, you should be able to figure out what are the max inscriptions and max upgrades of each type....once you know this then you can figure out how much a specific upgrade/inscription is worth based upon how desireable it is... generally speaking a sundering mod is worth more than a vamp mod (don't know why but its true) etc etc
