Automated Invitation System

The system I am proposing is for party member seeking, which can be added to the quest/mission display. This function would be capable of dispatching invitations to other users in the same campaign you are currently in. There could be a pop-out menu where you select the mission or quest you wish to call for help on, in which case invitations would be sent out to a select number of randomly chosen users under certain parameters. These parameters would involve selecting those 1) who have already explored the area in which the quest/mission is obtained or given, 2) who are of the best projected build/class suited for the mission/quest you have chosen, 3) when a projected build/class has been filled, remaining invitations of the same build/class will cease, 4) and I would recommend a maximum of three invitations sent out for a single build/class at once, except when the system searches for multiple builds/classes of same kind (it could also be manual too, plug in what builds/classes you want in your party by using this system). 5) Those that currently need to finish the select quest/mission will be sent invitations before all others. My suggestion should be rather easier to do now since they have already characterized builds in codes that could be linked to chat, I am assuming it could work for searches as well, which is why I sprang for this idea. This is a feature that could obviously be activated at the user’s leisure whether they are the sender or the recipient. I also propose that a certain amount of gold be rewarded to those who participate with the automated invitation system; the amount of gold should complement the difficulty of the assignment or desperation of the user in need (calculated by search time). Invitations should only last for 60 seconds to prevent people from intentionally cashing in the big gold. This system would also be on a continuous cycle so that if anyone declines the invitation or the time expires new invitations are sent under the same parameters. The reward would obviously not be administered until the quest or mission is completed and will only apply for the standard reward in missions. This proposal will assist in tedious areas of the game where building non-mercenary/hero parties are exceptionally difficult.

Ok, that mess is extremely difficult to read. Please attempt paragraphs and line breaks next time.

I'm not sure I understand what you are proposing. Do you mean that if you want an Elementalist and a Monk for your mission you click a "auto invite" button and the system contacts random Monks and Eles that are online and have been to your particular mission town before? My first thought is: Oh Dear God, no!!! Never!!!

On the other hand, it might be beneficial as an opt-in feature. Bring up a menu and check mark the missions you may be interested in helping out with. Your character is entered into the system and once enough folks check mark a mission you are invited to form a team in the mission town.

I think it would take a lot of programming for the devs to develop, but may be a possibility for GW2 if enough people think it would be beneficial.

Yes, but there are quite a few missions to to select from that you would be interested in joining up for. I have mentioned in my post that this system could be activated at the user's leisure. This is both an opportunity to get extra cash if desired and to call up on assistance if having difficulty assembling a non-hero/non-mercenary group.

Erm...isn't that kind of what party search is for? I know I wouldn't like to get random invites for quests. The only time I want to get invites is when I put in a request for party search.
