Favourite Assassin Armour?

Title pretty much explains it all. Mine is Female Imperial armour dyed yellow. Reminds me of a female version of Scorpion (Mortal Combat) How about you?

Hmm, I've had different favorites for a while.
plain old shing jea seems to be the most assassin-like(robes, simple clothes with no spikes everywhere)
my favorites though are mixtures of 15k canthan and imperial, or ancient with vabbian arms/feet.

What's my favorite armor? That's a good question. Although, I can tell you what I don't like and that's all the sin's basic maxed armor for the male and female. I don't mean to sound shallow, but usually whenever you see an assassin in basic armor in pve beyond when they passed the areas t obtain ascended armor, but they don't get it usually indicates trouble and the sign of a terrible player. Ok, I know we have seen several sin players in even fow armor play horrifically but usually the ones that don't wear them are mostly noobs. Armor may not determine how good a player is, but it sure indicates how developed they were, unless they bought gold off ebay to get it or had their guild leaders/officers sugar daddy them. I majorly think all the basic maxed armor is hideous. I don't like how the shing jea looks like some boring karate gee.
My favorites on ascended armor changes a lot. It depends on what kind of mood I'm in. . lately I favored vabbian dyed black. however, when the nf fad died down, I went right back to liking kurzick 15K dyed black and luxon 15K dyed either black or white.

Or maybe they just like that armor more, don't take this as flaming, but you cannot assume that kind of thing. For example, my Necro only has the 1.5K Scar patterns, I could get a 15K for him, but I think the blue scars go well on him.
I would not say Shing Jea is most assassin like, it looks more like nija armor, the ascended canthan in black has the greatest assasin feel to me.

Yeh, I have to agree with Shuuda.Yes, there are some "not so expert" assassins out there, but not every assassin with regular max armour is crap.Not one of my chars has 15k armour(I personally think its a waste of money) and I've never been commented on being crappy or noobish.

Um.....we're talking about the assassin and everytime I see a terrible sin player I happen to notice that nub's wearing basic maxed armor or basic mixed with some ancient (terrible combo)
Assassins are the number one class to be played the most poorly. (Dervish takes second place and necromancers with touch skills in third.) And if you wish to risk a sin in a pve team (especially for gate of torment), your closest guarantee is to make sure he pings his skill and is wearing expensive armor.

1st of all, Mixing Ancient armor is better because the gloves and boots are just way over done. It sounds like money is all you care about (or mostly care about). Just because it's cheaper, don't mean it's lesser (Which is true to say because a 1.5K set will have same stats as the 15K counterpart) You need to stop judging people so vainly.

I'm probably in the minority, but my favorite for both looks and functionality is assassin Vabbi armor dyed black. I don't care so much for the big blades, but insignias give it a distinct edge over old world canthan armors.

I love vabbian armour
and i love it even more because i payed only like 1/5 of what it costs now. When rubies and saphires were 2.5k i bought like 200 of em and spent all my money and items buying them but now I have 3 vabbi masks and full vabbi armour dyed white and I had enough rubies and saphires left to sell about a week ago.

assassins are my favorite class, and I like them to be more ninjaish 
than anything, so my favorite armor is a mix of FoW and Vabbian armor that shows them as clean, spikeless killers (which in my opinion looks way more deadly than a headbanded porcupine)
the mix is:

I hate exotic x_X The open sides just don't fit assassins at all, and imo the colors suck. The only time I ever used it was the gloves on one of my PvP chars, then I switched to a mix of Canthan and Imperial...

Hmmm...well, I use full 1.5k Canthan. Shing Jea looks too simple, and anything else has too many spikes for my taste.

yeah, that's why I'm changing to Vabbi, much slimmer around the shoulders, dying it in a mix of Blue and purple, to make a darkish purple (my fav of all colours) And the Spikes are not yellow, they looks more of a metallic goldish grey (or whatever)

i like normal kurzick armour with shinjea or seitung mask dyed either silver or blue
or

That kind of statement is as grossly incorrect as the "all tanks rush in and aggro too much" or "all sins think they're tanks". At this point you should quite frankly know better, many stereotypes in the game were blanket statements when a profession first came out that are simply inaccurate. Some sins with cheap armour aren't good at playing as a sin, some are great. Some using 15k armor play well, some don't. In the case of armour, its really all about the aesthetics. What looks good to one person doesn't on another. I went with basic Canthan armour throughout the game and if it wasn't for the 15k Canthan set for female assassins (which I love), I would have kept that basic Canthan armour and been one of the automatic noob sins simply because I wouldn't have had any 15k set.
