What's my favorite armor? That's a good question. Although, I can tell you what I don't like and that's all the sin's basic maxed armor for the male and female. I don't mean to sound shallow, but usually whenever you see an assassin in basic armor in pve beyond when they passed the areas t obtain ascended armor, but they don't get it usually indicates trouble and the sign of a terrible player. Ok, I know we have seen several sin players in even fow armor play horrifically but usually the ones that don't wear them are mostly noobs. Armor may not determine how good a player is, but it sure indicates how developed they were, unless they bought gold off ebay to get it or had their guild leaders/officers sugar daddy them. I majorly think all the basic maxed armor is hideous. I don't like how the shing jea looks like some boring karate gee.
My favorites on ascended armor changes a lot. It depends on what kind of mood I'm in. . lately I favored vabbian dyed black. however, when the nf fad died down, I went right back to liking kurzick 15K dyed black and luxon 15K dyed either black or white.

Or maybe they just like that armor more, don't take this as flaming, but you cannot assume that kind of thing. For example, my Necro only has the 1.5K Scar patterns, I could get a 15K for him, but I think the blue scars go well on him.
I would not say Shing Jea is most assassin like, it looks more like nija armor, the ascended canthan in black has the greatest assasin feel to me.

Um.....we're talking about the assassin and everytime I see a terrible sin player I happen to notice that nub's wearing basic maxed armor or basic mixed with some ancient (terrible combo)
Assassins are the number one class to be played the most poorly. (Dervish takes second place and necromancers with touch skills in third.) And if you wish to risk a sin in a pve team (especially for gate of torment), your closest guarantee is to make sure he pings his skill and is wearing expensive armor.

1st of all, Mixing Ancient armor is better because the gloves and boots are just way over done. It sounds like money is all you care about (or mostly care about). Just because it's cheaper, don't mean it's lesser (Which is true to say because a 1.5K set will have same stats as the 15K counterpart) You need to stop judging people so vainly.
