Is there any way to obtain a bag or a belt pouch in pre-seer? If so, where at?

Thanks

you can obtain a belt pouch outside of Ascalon. There is a trader directly to the right (when facing the city) that will trade you a belt puch for 5 river skales. You can not get a bag though.

You can get Charr bags, which I think are green drops from the Charr boses. They only hold 10 items, but they comes in handy if you have a perma pre character.

Charr bags are very handy. They are a very rare drop, but don't get your hopes up. htey are green and that means you can not mod them. A rune of holding does not work on them like many people want and think.

There's no runes in pre searing anyway, at least I do not think there are.

no there are not, but people make a pre searing char, farm the bags (or buy them) and then get very dissapointed when they take the bags to post and a rune of holding does not work on them

Just a note: the Charr bags are a pain to get. You need a partner to open the gate, then you probably need them to help you kill the Charr, halving your chances of getting one.

On a side note of this, It's hard to get someone to partner with anyone to go past the gate.
Everyone wants to solo it.
Well, there's always those one or two people who sell them for 3k plus black dyes.
lol.

Well, the good thing about Ascalon is that the explorable areas all seem to have merchants around, so if your inventory does fill up, you can always empty it there, and not have to worry about missing out on any items that may drop while you are still out there.

If you have a character in pre and you are trying to level up, then you will eventually get to the point where killing the Charr Bosses is the only way to go to get experience from level 14-16 besides deathleveling and doing quests.
Most people that are sticking around pre that long are going for the LDOA title and when you get to level 15 you only get 128 experience points from killing the charr bosses if you solo. If you go with a partner that gets cut to 64. People also wait to do all their experience quests until they reach level 19 anyway.

Over a couple of hundred runs of killing charr bosses I got maybe 10 Charr bags. You will really appreciate those bags the longer you stick around.

You don't need a rune of holding. It's already the size a bag would be with the roh.

Why would anyone go through the hassle of farming a Charr bag for a character that is NOT intended to be a perma-pre? It's 100 times easier to get a bag post-searing. It's not worth saving 600 bugs. But if you're a perma-pre then Charr hunting is your daily business, so the bag dropping is a welcome side-effect.
