Need an answer quick

hello i have had guildwars for a while but havent played it much since i got it and i was thinking of buying one of the expansions i can only afford one of them so which one is better or if i boiught one of them would somebody help me with the game thanks

If you are going to PvP a lot, get Factions
If you are going to PvE a lot, get Nightfall

If possible, get both You will have a greater array of skills to choose from for PvP, and some nice additions for PvE (Heroes in Nightfall, Alliances in Factions)

so if i buy factions and dont pvp its a waste of money really becuase i just like to play the game really i dont know anythign baout pvp

Factions is not just PvP. Sure, it has more PvP possibilities than Nightfall, but it also rocks as a PvE game. You can level up really fast and you don't need to do annoying side quests right from the beginning just to rack up some Sunspear points.

I think it all comes down to do you like playing by yourself, or in a group? Nightfall has heroes, which are a huge help but are also (in my opinion) one of the only reasons Nightfall is any good. Factions, on the other hand, has missions that try to go for a bit more teamwork and I think overall the game plays better too. It's all about personal preference though.... some people like Nightfall, others like Factions.

i think factions is easyer 2 level up on and has a better story line and is much funner with the luxon and kurzic aliances battlng each outher in a sort of pvp which u acses from a kurzic or luxon guild you dont need a pvp expantion pack to be able to do pvp

i hav a level 20 r/rt ranger ritualist from factions and i have done a mission to be able to get into nightfall with it and if u get the outher expantion u can end up geting all three games and i find that some website sell guild wars at a much cheaper price than in the shops nd they are quite reliable

i would be quite happy to help you in the game pre-searing with a new charr or in ascalon after searing

Wrong. If you're going to PvE, get Nightfall.
If you're going to PvP, get Nightfall.

better skills PvP wise (playing monk is pretty much impossible without Nightfall), better storyline PvE wise.

i bought factions i thought it looked bettert i will get nightfall evualy but i would like to know is it better to make a new account or add onto my existing account???

Looking at their style of writing, Chaosdreams and missile marksman seem to be a perfect match. Team up, guys!

Chaosdream : if you want to take your current characters that you made in prophecies, you will have to link it, it is also better to link in the most cases as it means you will be able to go to and fro between the continents.So i would suggest linking them.(So add to current account)

Remember you only get this option once.
