where can i post about looking for a guild?

hi, i was looking to join a guild that has active players in the morning, america east coast timezone

the only topic area i saw said do not post anything about recruitment

where should i post something of this nature?

In the guilds discussion section. There's a whole thread about guilds, where they talk about what they are about.

The Guilds Discussion forum is the right place. Starting a new recruiting thread is not allowed, but you can use the existing sticky threads if you want to post.

darn, i suppose posting in a sticky thread i would get lost in the sauce, so to speak

in game asking is almost impossible, cuz my request for a morning est guild is quickly spammed off the screen by the guy with the macro wanting to buy such and such or the other guy with the macro selling such and such

i must say being new to this, the town i was in on a tuesday morning made Ironforge or Ogrimmer on a saturday night look like a monestary in regards to spammers

well if anybody sees this and has a guild active at this playtime send me a pm, i wont post in this thread anymore to be polite

LOL i played wow too and the spam in GW is pretty overwhelming, that's for sure. I don't know how ppl sell anything with so much crap scrolling by, I just turn it off..
