Dervish in Prophecies

I was wondering if you could play a Dervish in Prophecies? I know you can't create one pre-searing, but if I take one from Elona and bring it to Ascalon, will I do the same missions that Prophecie people do?
Does-it-Matter
You will start out in Lion's Arch, and are able to participate normally from that point on as if you had reached LA from Ascaolon with a "core" character. So, yes!

You can play, like any other character. Thought you will either need to get a run or fight backwards to get to Old Ascalon and the earlier mission.

Although, if memory serves, you don't get the mission-reward experience for any mission completed in Prophecies that came earlier than Lion's Arch.

Play from LA,but remember,you'll not be able to get Elona Skills in Tyria.

When i started my Dervish shortly after the release of NF i went to tyria after leaving noob island. There was (and still is to some degree) a massive influx of bad dervishes in NF. Tyria is far easier for a Dervish than Elona imo. There's less enchant removal and using earth prayers skills you should be able to take a massive amount of damage, and give it out aswell like a dervish is known for.

yes you can in fact thats whats i did w/ my dervish after beating NF.

The other thing about the Dervish in Prophecies is their running ability. Get a nice little running build, and you can really explore and open up Tyria quickly! I had fun doing that, and made a little coin running other people as I did it.
