I just started playing a rit I'm still on the island so i don't have many skills and no elites but i've been trying things out
my rit is Rt/N
this is my build:
Bloodsong
shadowsong
pain
boon of creation
mark of pain
painful bond
spirit boon strike
res sig
curses- 3
communing- 4+1
channeling-5
spawning power-5
I cast boon of creation then shadowsong and put mark of pain and painful bond on the enemy it attacks .after that I cast blood song then pain and do the same thing. I use spirit boon strike when my spirits are low on health and painful bond and mark of pain are recharging.
I haven't really gotten the hang of the rit yet so its kind of frustrating

I do not think spirits deal physical damage, which would make mark of pain useless.
Cast all of your spirits before aggro, that way all of your spirits will be recharged at the same time. Playing a rit takes some time getting used to, but once you get more skills, and have more practice it is a really fun profession to play.

I guess spirits do physical damage, or it might be bugged.
The build you have listed is probably the best option you have right now since you are still on the island and you do not have access to a lot of skills yet.

Yeah, once you get off the Island, if you like spirits, Ritual Lord FTW. Otherwise, for other starting Rit experiences, check out http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10139308
