UW Solo Video

Here is a vid for a smite run with dervish. Video is in German, I hope you don't care. I developed this build some time ago and it works just fine. Not as fast as E but not as slow as W :P
When I got more time, I try to post an english version.

I found a similar build on wiki a few days ago, and now it is gone.
I have been using this for a while with physical resistance instead of conviction.

The way to run this build is the following:
Grasping:
use pious haste to pull grasping. Then you use physical resistance -> wait for distracting blows -> mystic vigor -> mystic reg -> zealous vow -> attack them once to gain energy -> heart of fury -> then start attacking and use victorious sweep when you attack. Zealous vow will supply you with enough energy. Reapply the enchantments when needed. Hopefully they won't interrupt your 1/4s cast time spells then you are safe.

Run to smite using pious haste. Pretty easy compared to any solo builds out there since you run 33% faster, and it is a stance (nightmare doesn't strip stance).

Smite:
physical resistance -> mystic vigor -> mystic reg -> rendering aura -> zealous vow -> attack them once to gain energy -> heart of fury
Then start attacking. Use victorious sweep to heal and increase damage.
Keep the enchantments on, especially rendering aura, it will help to strip the enchantments on smite (shield of judgement, zealous fire etc).

When you attack a group of more than 3, they will scatter. But it is not too big a problem. Just try to attack multiple targets at the same time by positioning.

This build has pretty good chance to survive since dying nightmares don't matter too much, and pious haste is very handy when running. It is indeed faster than the warrior solo build, but really slower than the elementalists.

I hope the OP do not mind I giving out instructions of how to run this since it is a build I found from somewhere else anyways.

If its .wmv it won't have a virus or anything cause it can't ... Only be suspecious if it is like .exe or whatever. Anyways, I am downloading it so I will edit this post and say how good or bad it is lol. Seems quite good tbh and hopefully you can tell us more about how to use and stuff.

Edit: Nice vid and really nice build also. Sorry to be a noob but where exactly is the smite run and the places you mentioned, I am kinda new and I have done UW only twice without much luck.

I tried the build but with not as much luck as you showed in your vid. I am pretty knew to UW and that so maybe I failed because I don't know much but can you tell us more information on what you used like armour insignias and runes on your armour and stuff. I tried and the grasplings give me a really hard time. I had zealous vow on and I dunno what skills they have but they stopped it working so it was on because I saw it on my top left enchantments and stuff list but it wasn't working because my energy was going up and when I hit i didn't get energy but I infact lost energy. What skill do they have because I wasn't using any skills but when I hit or they hit me they took all my energy off and it just stopped me using any skills and so I died. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me with this problem.

I use a superior scythe rune and a superior vigor, rest is minor.
Windwalker insignia is in every single part of the armor. This is most important.
My weapon is a nightmare scythe with 15^50 (or take 15^entchantment), 20/20 sundering (here even better: vampire) and 20% on entchantments.

You can see the way to go in the video. Kill all graspings. Then go to the right, rush past the aatxes, to the left past the two aatxes in front of the stairs.
You should see the first smiters there

Killing the graspings isn't that easy since they use two interrupt skills, on of them even dazes you. But all I can say is that you need practise. Try the run 5-6 times, then you see how to do it

Ahh ok thanks for the reply. I will try later and see if it helps. My problem was I did the first 2 groups with great ease and I thought I finally had got the hang of it but on the last one they used alot of spells that took my energy off and it was like going to 5 then going to 0 and so on and so I could not cast any spells. Is a stygian scythe good for this; 15^50 5:1 +20% enchantments? Seems like by what you said it would be quite good and so I will try it.

I don't know the stygian scythe, but if the stats are like you wrote it's perfect!
