Does hero armor need to be infused?

Might find me roaming around doing missions in hard mode...or maybe I'm lost in the Underworld...

If I wanted to work on some of the later bonus missions with heroes and henchmen in Tyria, would I need to take my heroes to get their armor infused first, or would their armor be strong enough provided I complete Nightfall?

From what I understand, Heroes are already infused when you get them. I have certainly never had a single problem whe using my heroes against mursaat.

Just remember the henchman armor still isn't ><. Gets so annoying when you are running 4 hench and 3 heroes.

I believe it said somewhere that you need to have your own armor infused and then that will automatically make your heroes armor infused.
