*shrug* No info to go on atm. I think it could operate a lot like RoT does in NF. Instead of portals, there will be tunnels or caves from the map we have now in the other 3 games leading to an underground complex.

From the various articles, it sounds like it will be directly north of Tyria. I've heard of areas north of Maguuma, Far Shiverpeaks and Charr lands, which is probably north of Ascalon. I assume the Norn come from somewhere north of Kryta.

Wasn't the Tarnished Coast south of Maguuma?

I think what he means is: Because they said most of the game will be underground or "dungeon-like"; will those parts of the map function like underground (SF/catacombs etc. ) or dungeon-like (UW/FoW/RoT/Urgoz/Deep etc.) areas we already have? Not: What part of the map will we see?

I think it will probably function like RoT; you have a map with outposts but all you have to navigate with is the mission map. I would love for it to be just an underground setting but function like a normal map.

If the entire map was like the undercity (or most of it) would there be no explorer title? You don't get any added percentage when you explore underground places.

Actually the tunnels will likely be the persistent realm. As its the interconnection cross territories. With (Instanced Missions) being in the over world with the standard Map bip travel points. Expect a kind of Antarctica looking map except at the north pole... With the the 3 northern regions shown, and the final area kinda on the other side of the world (IE through the Mists persistent realm (Like torment)) Imagine being able to travel through the Earth from Europe and come out in like Kansas in the US. I figure the final area will be that kind of major contrast. And... Will in the end prob be the setting for the GW2 world map Re-structure. Old world (gw1) New world (gw2) kinda thing...

The potential would even be there that some expansion in the far future of GW2 would return to the old world except In that distant future... to see all the changes that have happened there...
