Aurora Glade

I'm new so bear with me .I just play with heachmen,and i can't do this mission.I'm trying to attune the pedestals and I do two ,and the Mantle beat me to it.I read the Wiki that says leave 1 person back and tell them to keep attuneing but I can't with heachmen.How can I do this ?Man I read this forum and have no idea what you people are talking about,and at level 19 I think I should. thanks

Just let the party kill all the White Mantles (oh, use the flag if you're with henchmen, although I'm not sure if they are strong enough to beat them), and 1 person keeps running Crystals to recapture a shrine if a White Mantle takes it.

When killing the mantle, always prioritise killing the ones carrying the crystal ("I'm attacking....."), and bring skills to slow them down if you can (crippling shot for ranger, imagined burden for mesmer, etc). Bringing an MM helps as well if you can.

I keep running the crystals and I put them by the 1st shire to protect it and then it says I lost

If you are still having problems, I would advise you to find a group of human players. Aurora Glade gets much harder with henchmen only, especially if you're new to the game.

yes i agree....get a group of real players....since it is your first time through don't worry about the bonus....its even harder.....imo this mission is one of the hardest in Prophecies cuz you have to rely on others :P if you see me on line somtime holler and i will help ya... IGN Cordian A

I'd like to ask something.

How in the hell can you do the Bonus? If you try and kill the guy you need to kill you fail the Main Mission as the Mantle use the pedestals, and you are taken back to the Outpost, and the only way to stop the Mantle from using the pedestals is to use them yourself, but then that transports you to someone else.

I've been stuck on this for a while, can anyone answer this?

Are you putting them BY the pedestals or ON the pedestals? The light should turn blue when an altar is attuned to your team. :P

As for the bonus - keep at least one altar attuned to your team and kill all of the white mantle that come down to you. Eventually they will run out of runners and you can work your way up to the Demogogue for some good ol' fashioned butt kicking. Then come back and attune the other altars for the win.

i would love to help you guys/girls :P back in the old days (like dez 2005:P) a m8 told me an easy way to finish this with bonus in a snap. So if youre online pls let me know and we´ll doing it together. no rushing or something, just playing and you will see it can be done if you know how

Kill all the Mantle first. With them dead, you won't have to worry about losing the pedestals. Just let them come to you untill there aren't any more.

Yup. That's how I always did it.

Or you can just sneak past the Mantle from the right-hand side and bypass them all completely. Then just give the Demagogue a whoopin' and there's the bonus.

I did it with several of my characters and henchies back in the day (just mission), and unless they changed something, the mantle running teams will not fight unless you attack them first. Just outrun them. Run buffs help a lot, but I've done it without.

For the bonus, I always got some live help. Never tried it with heroes, but they ought to just clean up the runners and then go after the boss.

I do the bonus with my one guildee (before the hero and flag days)....we just killed everything....then theres no one to put a crystal on the pedistal....kill demi.....run around edges for cartographer title....put other crystal up, done.
