recently i went out to farm with a 55 build and died. when my partner tried to res me with rebirth i would just die again immediatly after.
is this a bug?

no this is normal, if u are not ressurected with a res that restores u to 100% health and suffer from 15% death penalty u die instantly. Res chant, and res sigs are good way to be able to res a 55.
FYI, 15% DP is calcul;ated on the 480 health u have as a character, any minuses or plusses due runes or whatever do not count towards the DP penalty. 15% DP equals therefore 72 health on all characters.
