Even if you don't have the profession or skills. One of my guildies wanted a Dervish build and I was a warrior. I was going to show him the AoL build but I didn't have the skills on my warrior. I have a Dervish, but he doesn't have all the skills. So if I went on my Dervish he would only show half of the skills. So the idea for this is to send the template code with all skills even if you don't have them or you aren't the right profession.
An example would be [Avatar of Lyssa;(template code)], instead of [xxx's skills;(template code)]

Uh... I think you can see em all, whether your character meets the requirements or not. Why would they even have a thing that lets you send your build if you couldn't see all the skills, knowing that some people wouldnt be able to see half (or maybe all) of them.

The only way I found is by using heroes to get the template code. If you read my little story, I couldn't send the template code because I was not Dervish Primary so I couldn't send the code. People could ask for a build in your alliance or so, and you have the build ready in your Template, but you can't send them because you aren't that class primary.

Thank, you, I have hundreds of ideas each day, but I can't barely remember them. You reminded me this one:
The problem is in the 'manage templates' panel.
That panel needs some buttons:
- Rename, self explanatory. So you don't need to alt-tab and change the names outside te game.
- Copy and...
- ...paste (to move between folders)
- Create folder.
- Allow the delete to delete folders too, with confirmation dialog.
- Send to chat. The one you ask for.
The file management ones are not really needed, but you could also delete them using the system file management instead an ingame system.
But at least the 'send to chat' should be added.

/signed. This would make it easy to send builds to friends on Vent/TS when you are a different proph, especially when your group is full and you'd have to leave your group to access your heros.

Hi
Since u started this treat about templates, i´m gonna take advantage so I don´t have to create a new topic on that
. I notice something about the templates today, and I wonder if you noticed too.
Now, with the new update you can "ping" your build to the chat and when clicking on it you see the player´s skills and attribute points right? Ok, but what I noticed was that if u have Runes on your build, it doesn´t show them on your attribute points. My question is: is this on purpose, or they just forgot to implement this on the update?

well if you use runes it will show up if you ping your equipment assuming youre using a pvp character. Dont think they'd be able to do it in pve because if you tried loading it, it wouldnt be able to put the runes on if you understand what im trying to say.

A build contains the skills, and the points invested in them. Runes are part of equipment.
MrGuildBoi, I don't understand your problem.
To send a random build: Manage templates->open it->send to chat->send it to w/e channel you need (guild, team, alliance, whisper)
