I haven't yet bought Guild Wars but I need to know if it will lag on my computer because pretty much every other game I play lags, such as Sims 2 [that's why I never play it], Flyff, etc. And limewire makes it lag too. I have Windows XP and a Compaq computer and I can barely download anything because everything slows it down. I dont have a virus or anything like that.

What can I do and do you know if Guild Wars will lag?

Maybe if we knew what memory you have, what processor, what connection speed/type, what graphics card you have etc.....

I think this is a pretty good indicator that Guild Wars will lag on your computer, unless you fix the problem. Post your computer's specs so we can see whether it's a software or hardware problem. Click Start>Run, type in dxdiag. Post your processor and memory found under the system tab, and your graphics card's specs under the display tab.

Post these specs of ur computer.

Processor ( Speed and Make)
Memory (also known as RAM)
Graphics Card ( Make and Memory)
Operating System (windows xp, linux ect..)
Connection Speed (example 2mb)

Its no good coming onto a forum saying will this game lag without giving us any information on your system spec. Read the stickies dude .
