While trying to find pugs to do rotscale with, I found that most people basically dont know what their doing here. But i was able to make a team to do it several times. Heres what I came up with. Remember, these skills are the premim skills, and just a referance. Most skills are exchangable, but some are necciscary. I will explane which ones these are later.

All these characters have a job:
The warrior:
This character must run the party to majesteys rest, where rot can befound. When fighting rot, with an elemental weapon, he must corner rot and keep him bleeding/deep wound. all the skills are neccisary.
The nukers:
They provide the damage, and rot has ALOT of health. The neccisary skills are ms, because you need it to kill the rotting dragons. all the other skills are replacable, but these work the best for the situation.
The Bha dazes and interrupts rot, as well as provided winter. winter triggers spinal shivers, and all elemental damage will interrupt him. Bha, the interrupts, and winter are all neccisary, rtw helps to interrupt him easier.
The nec:
He will be able to dole out large amounts of dmg with spoil, and he has spinal shivers which will keep him interrupted. the other skills will help you and your team, but they can be replaced. although it it weaker vs 1 target, spitefull spirit works as well.
The rit:
Most of the enemies attacks here are powerfull, and shelter/union/displacement will do alot to help this. For energy, mighty was visorun is great, because boon isnt that strong for energy. Lively was naomei is great for rezzing people under frozen soil. Pain is not reqired, but it does good damage.
The monks:
You need these to keep your team alive. This is a basic healing build. The sig and words of comfort are changeable, but the other skills are nice for heals and spike heals.

When you get to majesties rest, the tank should run ahead and check the spawn. a good spawn is where rot and his group are near the back. either side is fine, but the middle is even better. make sure the other enemies there (the rangers, horseman) are easily accessed by the eles. when these enemies are killed, the tank should run up and back and trigger the smoke phantoms, which your party should kill. The next step is the hardest. The 2 eles have to nuke the rotting dragons. The rit should set all three defencive spirits. The eles have to coordinate the nukes well, and 2 ms's should be able to kill them. While ms is sill going, the whole team should focus on the clerics and kill them. This may take a couple times to take out all the rottings/clerics. Finnaly you can take on rot. The necro should hex him the shivers, and have the tank corner him, preferably on the sides of the structure. if he is on the stairs the rangers attacks may be obstructed. When he is cornered, the ranger should daze hima nd put up winter. After that keep him hexed with shivers/sv and keep the nukes on him.

Good luck rot farming!
