How do you get your monk hero to maintain enchanments?

Hello, big time newb question but how do you keep your monk hero to maintain the enchantments? I'm trying to have mine bond me, but once I use the skill Talhkora just takes it off. I tried holding shift + left click on the skills to put the red cross out sign, but was useless.

In other words, how do you keep the heroes skills cancelled/blocked?

Disable the skill on the hero bar, then manually cast them. It's that way by design.

Edit, never mind. Apparently I had the disable key set to something else for some reason, bleh it's 2 a.m. here. This thread can be closed please, and thanks for the quick response.
