Why Doesn't Anyone Have The Stygian Daggers

I have looked high and low for any sellers of these daggers and I can't find them anywhere.

Does anyone have a pair for sale and why doesn't anyone have them?

I am also looking for a perfect plagueborn shield and thats like near impossible for me to obtain as well.

Couldn't Arenanet put in an auction service in game, which spans across all districts and regions, where people can put up the items they want to sell, set a S/B and B/O

There could also be a search function where you can type the name of the item you wish to purchase and any results of sellers that are selling that partiular item show up.

I am getting really fed up of having to jump around from dist to dist just to find a seller of these elusive daggers

If you bothered to read what I typed I asked as to why "A-NET" don't have an "IN GAME AUCTION SERVICE" as it would make this trading fiasco alot more easier.

Ye ok your right I should calm down a bit, but the first two posts were quite arrogant, condescending and presumptuous to come to the conclusion that I hadn't bothered to check guru's auction function, which was something I had checked before I had made the post and wasn't even part of the subject matter.

And the second person was completely silly to assume that I hadn't checked the sell forums.

The reason why these things are rare is because few people can deal with the DOA. Almost no one farms the daggers. Because quite frankly, they're fugly, there are few sin players left and all the hassle of selling it for a mere 80p, just not worth any effort at all unless you accidently stumble upon them. Hence, the low numbers. There just is no real market for them and your only option is patience, which you lack.

I like these daggers too, i can find them occasionally, i just couldnt when i had the money to buy them:P

I have seen them drop quite regularly in Veil and have a set myself, it could just be that the people that are getting them are keeping them! I know personally on of my hero's use them although I rarely bring her out.

Patience is a virtue, you will eventually find them

Ive found and obtained much much much rarer items than those daggers you are looking for without the need for an in-game auction house.

Quit with the attitude too as your thread will be closed fast if you keep attacking people.

On a side note I got my Stygian Daggers from the best PVE player in the world Zamochit who gave them to me for free.

Closest I ever found to a Perfect Plagueborn Shield was req 10 tactics, -5 dmg 20% with +27 health.. And considering how little these drop I don't think I'll ever find a better one, but I sold that a long time ago.

An auction house? What a great idea! I remember suggesting this back in December....2004.
