Decent DoA build???

All the team builds seem to always want :

An obsitank
3 SF
3 monks
a bip

(or something along those lines )

Is there any way that a Ranger can be effective in that sort of team build, ive heard of the 1hp build but dont know what it is really (a 55 ranger ressed so he has 1hp and can non stop bip? ).

If any1 knows how a ranger could fit into this sort of team build i would apreciate it thanks.

Try getting a guild group going, or going for a trapper build in stygian. Otherwise the people are going to want to run the same lame build.

the first times i went to DoA i always advertised:

"Ranger LFP to do whatever and willing to try things"....

but noone seemed interested... everyone just want those builds...

Unfortunately, A-net designed DoA in a way that very few builds will actually work there. It's just another wall and nuke place where some professions get left out. A ranger, however can sometimes be allowed into a working group, but they are generally less effective at the jobs they are assigned to than other professions can be at doing the same job.

The only way a ranger can get into DoA is by spirit spamming. But since the only 2 spirits pugs actually want are Symbiosis and EoE... the BiP normally brings it. When i did it with a friend we used a monk tank and as such needed QZ and Famine. Which only a ranger can really do.

But as for a pug... you don't have a prayer.

Yes, ive been trying to make a build for Rangers to get in DoA more easily also... nothing has worked too well tho, except famine might work.. then again i havent been into the City and Gloom or too far into the Foundry. =\
maybe the ranger could tank =0.. could be possible...:
