Say I was using a Rit/R (not ranger/rit)
Splinter weapon + Barrage...

Splinter weapon reads, For 15...51 seconds, target ally has a Splinter Weapon. Target ally's next successful 1...4 attack [sic] deal 5...41 damage to all adjacent foes....
so that means the damage is coming from the bow and not the splinter weapon skill... right?

Now will a 20% demonslaying slaying Mod benefit splinter weapon, or only Barrage or my damage as a whole (barrage and splinterweapon)
(lets say i was doing the stygian mobs)
In other words should i even mod the bow if i was using this skill combo as a Rit.

yes the damage comes from spliter weapon, and not the bow, sure, why not throw a demonslaying mod on there, but the LB title will give you a nice damage boost any how. 
btw a vamp mod is most likly better, and most likly easier to find.

Ah so you mean only barrage benefits form a slaying mod...
So i guess its not worth modding it Because RITs deal damage using splinter weapon and NOT barrage or the bow... (unlike ranger primaries)

thanks Neither rit or ranger primaries should have more than points in marksmanship. Splinter Weapon does a huge amount of damage by itself.

No it doesn't. Or it'd also mean that you'd get +15% from a 15^50 and +20% from it been customised.

you just made me realize that ive been wasting my 15^50 and 2020 sundering mods... (not to mention customizing the bow itself)
so for the purpose of splinter farming... any Uncostomized Flatbow will deal the same damage (or a negligable bonus) as a customized sundering flatbow of demonslaying with 15^50?
