Which race and profession will *you* start out as in GW2?

It will be a tough decision for me. How about you?

Either a Ritualist, Paragon, or Monk. At this point I don't really care about races because we don't know all of them for sure yet.

I'll most likely just stick with a human for my main character, but I'm really dying to make a Charr as well. I'll most likely make a character for each of the races.

Not sure about the proffessions yet though, it sounds like they may be changing them up quite a bit, so I'm going to wait and see before I decide.

Charr or Norn warrior or elementalist would pwn!

I'm probably going to run Sylvari or Human. As for class, if they keep the Ritualist, I'll be going for that. If not, Elementalist.

We don't even know the professions yet (they said they will condense professions), or if any professions are race exclusive! This is incredible speculation...

As people pointed out, we aren't even sure if the classes will stay intact.

Anyway, for me it will really depend on a few things (will the different races start out in different places, will they have certain inherient bonuses, what will my friends be doing, etc).

Well I'm most likely to make a ranger as my first char, since they are just plain awesome. I am just going to make a list of what races I will choose for each profession, if I even use some of those professions:

Ranger - Charr (RAWR!)

Warrior - Norn

Monk - Sylvari

Mesmer - Asura (Bwahahaha!)

Elementalist - Charr (Guess what element?)

Necromancer - Human (But only if they update their looks to look more magey and less "7 foot hunched over freak wearing action figure armor")

Assassin - Asura (2 foot tall ninja of DOOM!)

Ritualist - Sylvari

Paragon - Norn

Dervish - Human
