E/Me Famine Titan Gem Farmer

So basically i dont have a monk or a ranger at domain of anguish to farm titan gems but i did have an elementalist so i put together this build(with the help of guildwarswiki.com):
(everybody know the Ranger Famine build)

The problem with this build is that the ranger doesnt get any energy through Essence Bond(because you won't take any dmg)but he still needs to bring Balthazar's Spirit, and Mending is optional.
Another problem is i always defeat the two melee attackers but the others i cannot defeat and once the melee attackers are dead i can't deal any more dmg. I think it might be possible to bring "fear me" or something
Any suggestions?

I have been trying something like this also, but having the same problem. An idea might be the Ranger takin life bond since u'll be takin no dmg and casting balthazar's spirit on himself also. So no need for Essence Bond then.

Maybe you just can't aggro?? If you aggro correctly EVERYONE looses energy and die, not just the 2 meelee..

MAybe Ether Feast to replace Aura of Restoration but it might not be fast enough for Kinetic armor

Ok if i remember right, Essence Bond triggers when you take damage. And it works in conjunction with SoA on the Monk because it reduces the damage recieved. Now. With all those +armor skills you will have to much armor for stoneflesh to reduce any damage. So I suggest testing with just one or two of those +armor skills, to determine what will give the ranger energy. Since your spamming Aura of Restoration, you should be fine as long as you maintain your enchantments.
As for not being able to kill everyone else. Thats just because you obviously don't know how to run this farm. This isn't one of those, lets just run up and aggro then run over to this corner here. That works for the titans, not the margonites. I'm going to share how the monk version works because it should be the same. Now when you go in and activate the quest, you have to wait till the Margonite ranger casts QZ. Then you wait for them to group together. At the instant they all run back to each other in a ball. You run at them and stop in aggro range, so that the warrior and dervish run at you. Then you run around the warrior and dervish into the middle of all the Margonites. The warrior and dervish will close in behind you. Once this happens throw up your AV and SV, and wait for Famine and EoE to work its magic.
Now I suggest taking out one of those many armor enchants in place for LB gaze. Because no matter how good you, that Ki is annoying and can get off a healing seed or something before it loses energy and so it doesn't die with EoE. So then you just use LB gaze to finish it off.
But thats just what i think. Not sure if it will work 100% or not. But to fix the ranger not getting energy just use stoneflesh for dmg redux and something else for higher armor, and keep spamming Aura of Restoration and your spells for health.

0 damage only counts as damage if its from a damage reduction, like shield of absorption or stoneflesh. If your have so much armor that you take 0 damage, it doesnt count. Because Essence bond works after armor but before damage reductions. Thats why SoA works so well for the monks.
And lets see....why you are dying at the titans. Titans use Shockwave and Aftershock. My guess is that you are getting spiked by these as they use them right off the bat. You're only health regen there is from mending. With Balth and Mantra you should be getting plenty of energy. If you have all of you enchants up, obsidian, kinetic, stoneflesh, stone striker, and mantra. I'm pretty sure you should have enough armor and dmg redux that shouldn't be dying. Lets see +100 armor from stoneflesh and obsidian then 40% dmg redux from mantra and -31dmg redux from stoneflesh. Wait wait wait. You said your dying? How. With all of these enchants up I'm pretty sure you will be taking no dmg.
The only thing i can think is that Kinetic is running out, then that leaves you with just +20 armor from obsidian.
However, you do have the problem of moving 50% slower, aka its going to be a pain to get in the corner to make sure the titans dont run away. So basically they will be attacking you non-stop because you wont be able to keep AV or SV up enough to be usefull.

I dont know. I think you should switching back to armor of earth. You will move slower (only 14% more with 15 earth) but you wont have to spam a skill every 8's, allowing you to get to the corner. And with QZ down, every one of those enchants should recharge with plenty of time to recast.
Maybe I'll go cap Obsidian and try it out later. But i dont know why you are dying...

Probably catching a dose of chiblains. It happens sometimes if they spawn completely around you after killing the margs. Happened 3x to me the other day with spellbreaker up and the ranger flagged at the gate with no spirits in range.

I would put my money on the chilblains. Especially since you aren't gonna be moving to fast due you your enchants and the speed debuffs. Since chillblains is a self target aoe spell, your OB flesh won't stop it. So basically when this happens (you're running symbiosis on the R i presume) you get a massive drop in max hp, loose all your armor, and then get spiked. Go run it one more time and see if you suddenly loose all your enchans every time you die.

Distance from them is how you stop it, once you get up in the little nook, they don't use it, I always throw up a visage just in case anyways when I hit the corner, while the spirits are being re-planted. Also having PS covered with 2 enchants will save the day sometimes, other times it's your turn for a dirt nap.
They will use it on a monk so don't think they're immune.

KCP, chiblains states you become poisoned for 10 seconds, foes in the area are struck for 10-37 cold dam and loose 1-2 enchants so providing you have (i go as monk) SB up then they cant get you enless your ranger is in the area. I have done this run for about 2-3 months and never get poisoned (ie chilblains) but i do always have SB on when titans get close (cast as they spawn). I think also Monk may be lucky as often has two or three encahnts on top so may get away with it if it does happen

Chilblains doesn't poison you, (the monk), it poisons the caster (the titan). But in this case I am pretty sure that the despair titans are imune to poison, which is why they never appear to get poisoned by chilblains.

Ahh ok that would make sense, then maybe the only reason i have never suffered from it is that i always have my PS covered by another enchant when ever i run in but i have to say they never seemed to of ripped spell breaker either. I always cast when i run in and it stays there, to my knowledge there has not been a time where i have died from chilblains in the last few months that i have been dong this

Yeah the same here. I tank there a lot myself and can't recall ever getting killed because of chilblains. I think the reason is a combination of having PS well covered by other enchantments and the titans rarely spawning right on you.

Killing the titans would be near impossible. The reason SB works so well is because even though the spells cast on you fail, the energy is still lost. So, the titans burn most of their energy casting spells like rotting flesh through QZ. Then by the time they get to you, they have no energy nor can they regen it do to AV/SV, so no chilblains.
Obsidian flesh works differently. The spell fails, however there is no energy lost. You would have to bury obsidian flesh under 6 enchantments (2 enchants removed per chilblains * 1 chilblain from 3 despair titans each). Now the original build has 8 enchantments, so you could bury it under 6 enchantments, but reapplying after chilblains would be near impossible because you'd be killed before you could get them back on.
