Quite simple really, you have three teams of four. So, fellow party members on your 4 player team need to have green names - instead of blue. This will let everyone easily distinguish who's who in the midst and frenzy of fighting, and will be helpful to those new to AB as well as enhance the overall teamwork effectiveness of everyone involved.

that is why in chat, your 3 teammates have lightblue names and the other 8 ppl have darkblue names

I think he means the actual player name that is above or below the guy, not the chat text.

Yes that is what I am talking about, the actual names you see in the game, not the chat window.
