Moving between chapters

a bit of a n00b question i'm afraid but i hope someone can help

how do you move between chapters? i currently have a character in nightfall and want in the future to travel to factions and prohepecies

is there a mission to complete first? or is there a lvl cap?

There are Quests that will lead you to Tyria and Cantha when you have those Campaigns linked to your account. The quests will available at the Consulate Docks for Nightfall owners.




Edit: had Missions instead of Quest o.O
