where can i buy armor at lvl 8 besides kamadan?

hi, i only have nightfall, and in all the towns i'v been in i cant find armor or weapons for sale, someone said go to a dock or something, but didnt elaborate

i just have the armor i bought at lvl 3 from the vendor in kamadan...any other place a lvl 8 can find armor for sale?

also if anybody knows what battle commendations are for plz let me know

figured since i'm almost halfway to 20 i'd find something more dapper to wear, or somewhere to spend all this money i been collecting

Armour progression: Kamadan -> Jokanur Diggings -> Blacktide Den -> Consulate Docks.

Battle Commendations are quartermaster items. You trade them for stuff in Sunspear Great Hall.

You can also get a 'ferry' to the Consulate Docks from anyone with the 'Time is Nigh' quest active. This will let you buy max armor but you will still have to go back and follow primaries to get off the island.

Don't forget collectors. Unfortunately in Nightfall, you can't get max collectors armor like you can in Factions and Prophecies, but it's certainly a lot better than Kamadan armor. Plus, it's free.

Don't buy any armor before you get to Consulate Docks. It's a waste of money.

Like Pkest said, you can get a "ferry" to Consulate Docks, but I doubt you have enough money to buy max armor if this is your first character. For a set of max armor you need 7500 gold and crafting materials.

If you are not going for the “survivor title” I suggest you wait and buy it at the Consulate Docks. It is max armor from that point on. Keep in mind it is much more gold and material cost then the lower armor class versions. Note - if you are going for the survivor title or are having a hard time making it through areas buy the armor as you progress it does help make it easier.
