No more "weekend events"

Please no more weekend long special events!! There are lots of people who play during the week that have "real life" things to do on weekends and cannot enjoy these events at all. I am out of town a lot on the weekends so I end up missing about 90% of the events in spring and summer, and in winter I miss about 50%. Make them last from Saturday am to Friday pm..or have every other one be Tues and Wed.

Just make all events last 5 days.

Any 5 days would accomodate most player's schedules.

So, because they don't fit your schedule, you want to remove them completely?

did you even read his post? :S he doesn't want them removed, he wants them to be lengthened to include a couple days during the week.

i'm all for wednesday or thursday through sunday events, so /signed

meh if you make them too long they're not "special" anymore, takes the fun away for me a bit...

I like weekend events.

They're not terribly special, sometimes they are, but usually they're not. If they don't fit your schedule well, I'm sorry.

If they are made to last the entire week, or even longer then they are now, they are no longer special.

The only thing I *would* like, is for guildwars.com to host regional polls letting us decide which (of a list of) events we want next - with the exception to holiday-related events that are mandatory.

Neithers having them every weekend...

Maybe not completely remove... but seriously cut down the frigging frequency of them. Every f*cking event is followed with some stupid bug/screw up/massive lag that screws the server up for the next few days...

They are at the weekend because most of pele have a bit more of free time at them.

THey start on Friday and end on monday... so most people should be able to join them.

You seem to be an excepcion, but there's nothing Anet can do, those weekends are meant to keep players intersted on weekends and holidays, not in the rest of the days...

Remove weekend events because you can't enjoy them? No thanks.
