I am having an immense difficulty with this mission. Incase you didn't know or quite remember the name, it is the mission where you need to kill the four celestials in order to complete the mission. I am a level 20 Ranger Monk, and I normally bring barrage, healing breeze, comfort and charm animal, choking gas, and resurrection. (Other two skills I can't quite remember for now.)

I have attemp[ted this mission atleast a dozen times, but each time I'm met with defeat. I always take the right teleporter first, and attempt to go in the order of the phoenix, dragon, turtle, then finally kirin. I've tried this mission with all human groups several times, my self and all henchmen other times, and a handful of times with me and my friend (who is a MM with some of the best equipment in the game). However, each time we always get best the first three bosses, then the kirin destroys us.

If anyone has any tips or would possibly volunteer to help me best this mission, it would be appreciated.

Well, if you are only interested in passing the mission, with no concern for the bonus, you can make the mission simpler by clearing out the birds first before touching any of the celestials. Thus, you can backtrack to kill the celestials, facing only the celestial respawns.

I have passed the mission at masters, even though I got disconnected in the middle of a fight. It's not really that hard.

However, your skillbar has me confused. Why bring choking gas along with barrage, since they don't work together? A suggestion would also be to leave the healing to the healers and focus on dealing damage and healing.

For help, you'd have to post your in game name, though...

My in game name is Sir Owns Alot Ep...

I know my skill bar is kind of "noobish", so would you have any reccomendations? I recently got to the ring of fire islands, so I can purchase any skills (except elites of course) you tell me to.

Well, from my experience, trying it in the exact opposite order is easier ( that is: kirin, turtle, dragon and lastly, phoenix ). Second, If you're going for masters: get yourself a clock, or stopwatch to time, or rather to pace yourself. I've failed masters-completion because I felt I needed to rush the last bit (due to time)

As for the skill-bar; I'm usually fine with running a prep and barrage ( and having the prep removed as often due to my tendency to spam barrage)
So, err, don't
I'd suggest something along the lines of: Barrage, Savage shot, Distracting shot, Throw dirt/Whirling defense, Troll unguent/Comfort animal, Charm animal, Res Signet (or a hard res if you feel uncomfortable with sig)

skills with "/" between 'm are choice. I'd suggest go with troll over comfort anytime.

I used Iuris' suggestion:

Went to face the Pheonix first, killed the all of the non-boss monsters, then moved on. After killing everything but the bosses, I killed the Kirin, and worked back to the beginning (facing the pheonix at the end).

I did it with henchies (pre-nightfall).

Barrage (e)
Favorable Winds
Distracting Shot
Savage Shot
Serpents of Quickness
Troll Unguent
Remove Hex
Rebirth

Never died, and made it on the first attempt. No masters, but it was done.

I've gotten masters a lot on this mission. I have 10 characters.

1. Always start with the monk boss (left teleporter). He's a smiter and doesn't heal.
2. Know exactly how to proceed to each boss. i.e. if you run straight through after killing the turtle (how you faced him when you saw him) its the wrong way. You should turn left across the closest bridge when you entered his area.

3. Bring a lot of AoE damage: barrage/pet rangers, 2 eles, mesmer, tanks and monks.

4. Once you kill the turtle boss always take out the turtle spawns first. They use Grenth's Balance to keep themselves alive. It's annoying and delaying to you.

5. Once you get to the mesmer boss, only attack him and nothing else. Dead mesmer boss = mission over no matter who's left.

good luck.
