Someone was asking for a blood build in another forum so I posted this as an example. I have used if for a bunch of quests and missions and seems to work well. Please review and comment if you think it is good or bad or whatever. (You will need all campaigns.)

Blood 12 +3
Soul Reaping 12+1

May be spelling his name wrong but I use Gordoks Hook Blood Offhand and a blood wand you get from finishing Nightfall.

Factions- Lifebane Strike- Target foe takes 12...41 shadow damage. If that foe's Health is above 50%, you steal up to 12...41 Health.

Prophesies- Shadow Strike- Target foe takes 12...41 shadow damage. If that foe's Health is above 50%, you steal 12...41 Health.

Nightfall - Blood of the Aggressor- Sacrifice 5% Health. If target foe is attacking, you steal up to 5...41 Health. Otherwise, that foe takes 5...41 damage

Core- Vampiric Gaze- Steal up to 18...52 Health from target foe.

Core - Order of Pain- Sacrifice 17% Health. For 5 seconds, whenever a party member hits a foe with physical damage, that party member does an additional 3...13 damage.

Nightfall - Signet of Sorrow- Target foe takes 15...63 damage. If target foe is near a corpse or has a dead pet, this Skill recharges instantly.

Nightfall - Reaper's Mark- For 30 seconds, target foe suffers -1...4 Health degeneration. If that foe dies while Hexed with Reaper's Mark, you gain 5...13 Energy.

I don't like using both Lifebane and Shadow Strike, because I find that enemies often start getting AOEd down or whatever too quickly, and I don't like wasting 10 energy using the skill against an enemy with low hp. The cast times are pretty high as well.

I generally run Shadow Strike / Dark Pact / Vampiric Gaze for my nukes.. there's always something to spam, and the hp sacrifice of DP is small enough that VG will top it back up.

I would agree about Lifebane and Shadow Strike. I like to use Life Transfer, Life Siphon, Dark Pact. Cast in that order, and have fun spamming Dark PAct without worrying about your health. Also if you are running Blood, maybe bring BR or something like that too, so you can help all across the board.

this build wouldnt work too well in pve... however if ur fighting a guildie in a
1v1 or picking a fight in an ab against a meleer who is coming ur way... it can work wonders.

i dont think reapers mark is usefull tho... i would rather use taste of death/pain i know one of them steals hp from a minion.. but i forgot the name :S

i also think u could replace rez sig with something else since in an ab/1v1 its useless.... maybe try spoil victor (meleers / eles) / parasitic bond (just about Vs anything...)/ faintheartedness (Vs caster)

personaly... i wouldnt use blood in pve... u dont get enough AoE dmg... while being an mm its easy to keep ur minions alive, u get an army of undead, and deal damage at a mor drastic / spammable scale.

p.s. i saw an mm in RA yesterday... it was funny >_<

I'll agree with the other posters, I've never liked shadow strike or lifebane strike.

And for a blood nuke ... Im amazed neither dark pact nor jaundiced gaze made it into your build.

If you are nuking, dont mess around with degen ... reaper's mark can be replaced with offering of blood, as I assume thats what it was there for in the first place ... energy concerns. Offering of blood is better anyway, in the event you run out of mana ... and sadly your foe has yet to die.

Order of Pain only lasts 5 seconds and doesn't benefit a nuker ... /boggled
Using orders almost always requires a build dedicated to it /abandon

if you dont like to sac for dark pact, consider jaundiced gaze /sexy

I'd also recommend an oh shit button ... Taste of Pain is a nice chunk of health in case you get in trouble, provided you can tab to someone under 50% fast enough. Unholy feast alternatively is nice in case you piss off more than one mob.

Deathly chill is a great chunk of damage to lead off with.

I had a blood only build for a bit, I used it when capping elites so I could swap out my secondary without affecting my build.

N OoB Nuke

Offering of Blood, jaundiced gaze, vampiric gaze, deathly chill
(thats your damage)
Blood Ritual, Taste of Pain/unholy feast, Sig of Capture , rez sig
(long fight, oh shit i pulled aggro, yay named down, get up and heal monk!)

swap sig of capture for spinal shivers if you want to interrupt an annoying healer once your mana runs dry (++cold damage wand if you do)

Taste of pain/unholy feast could perhaps be dropped for something of your choosing ... not a damage dealer though ... You can spam the other 3 as is. Signet of Lost Souls perhaps? For a bit more energy?

My 2 cents,
