In roughly 8-10 days (At the very least, not sure if birthdays consider the extra day release before GW for those who preordered) and someone will reach the 2 year age.
The original GW was released on April 28th, and it is the 18th when I posted this roughly.
I don't remember how long after i created my own main character, considering it took me a week or two to simply to finally choose which class i would go with.
But I know that it was created 23 months ago. What do you suppose the 2nd birthday gift will be?

My first character, created on the day Prophecies was released, was a male warrior. 2 months later I finally got sick of the pot-bellied guy and deleted him. I then made a female warrior, which I still have to this day.

If you see a mini pet it could be anyone's. Therefore mini pets are indeed pointless because no one knows that you own it.
Second Birthday present should either be:
1. A flag for your mini pets so they can't wander away from you and make it so no one knows that you own it.
2. The ability to name your mini pet so that everyone knows you own it.
3. A mini pet of your own character so that everyone knows you own it because it looks exactly like you.
