Question about hard mode

I've been reading all I can find about hard mode, but I still have one question, If we enter hard mode, can we leave it later to help a guildie thats not rdy for it? It would suck if it had to be a permanent change once entered.

We'll find out when Hard Mode is released, which I think is tomorrow.

Anyone figure this out yet? I'd go find out myself but I'm 5 hours into death lvling 12 char in pre

Yes, you can switch hard mode on and off at will whenever you get into town.
Also, no hard mode in pre.
