necro UW solo

i was wondering cuz im hearing so much cool stuff u can do with necros so im deciding to make one. after i get all his stuff set up for UW i wanted to know sumthin. the dying nightmares, is there a possible skill out of the build that u could take out that is not totally necessary to put in some sort of interrupting skill? i mean wat if u cant kill it fast enought then ur dead..
anyways plz repost with an answer or a way to avoid him using it? plz repost thnx

Well then how about you take into consideration that this is a general forum for questions and answers and that if you posted your question in the farming section, as was suggested, you would have a greater chance of getting more specific and knowledgeable answers.

So on that note - If you want to know what skill(s) can be replaced in a build, you might want to post the build you are talking about.

there is no necro uw solo. espically not 55. rend is a 1 second cast and there are 2 or more NMs quite often.

ok this is the build: protective spirit, spirit bond, insidouse parasite,SS, balthazar's spirit, essance bond, mending, and reckless haste and i had an idea about not putting up ur enchantments and just killing it while ur hiding behind the ghost then put up ur enchantments while ur still safe behind the ghost, is that still possible?

replace vigorous spirit by somethign else if you want, it isnt essential.

how about nightmares : just start farming by the other side.instead go steps on the left go steps to the right.trigger first pop up, kill nighmare, agro group, trigger 2nd pop up kill nighmare agro, ...etc.

I have been doing Necro UW solo for a long time and it's a lot of fun. After last night's update it got a little harder ie Nightmares are lvl 25 on hardmode. Like the other poeple posted u get behind the npc, and kill them from their. I bring defile flesh on the 8th slot (just to speed up killing the smites and atts when ss is recharging) and i found it usefull for the lvl 25 nm's beacuse it takes about 20 wands to kill them now, no more 2 wands, defile flesh makes it a lot quicker.

water, that solo dosnt work. its total bs itself

i have been doign that solo uw runs for 3 weeks now and worked 100% for ataxes and darkness.so how no work for you*cough* *cough*

tried a run today after update in normal and hard mode.work good in normal.in hard just enough be more carefull....but tis still able to be done.

from what I have gathered they have made it almost impossiable to solo in an underworld now, they have added somekind of deal that drops better ffor groups now down there so why solo ?

gl, Necro my favorite but the nerf on SR has made it more difficult.

well soloing is better cuz all drops are urs and u dont have to do it on hard mode right?

soloing USED to be better. now you might as well take a group of 8. you will get the same drops. solo builds = dead

dude idk wat planet ur from but solo farming is great. groups of 8 in UW r extremely stupid, as well as a waste of time. u have a 1 in 8 chance of getting an ecto... wereas soloing u get all the drops. and they do work..... im still pwr lvling myself on my necro but its going quik i get like 500 exp from the trolls and i use vigorus spirit and just wand one of em and my hp stays ok. anyways i will let u know how my first run goes wen i get to lvl 20 and i complete the attribute point quests

Joe, Coleneh was in the planet of March 21, the day he made that post. Between the time of his post and your post, ectos were excluded from the reccent solo farm nerf.

Uh, can you please show me where it says Ectos were never included in the drop scaling system? When he posted that, he was correct. They have since changed it.

Between the April 19 and April 20 updates, solo farming was dead. You could just go in an 8 man group, getting the same amount of drops for yourself but going much faster. The scaling system made it so if you had 1/8 people, your group (you) only got 1/8 drops*. If you had 8/8, your group got full drops, but you only got 1/8 of those.

*This included Ectos, Rares (gold), Uniques (green), Runes, Tomes, Scrolls etc.
