But earlier I did Xaquang Skyway and Pongmei Vally Runs most often...
Boreas Seabed I didnt ran that much but I promise it's a cool run^^

in nahpui quarter (explorable) there are no chests that drop celestial staves afaik^^
there are only am fah and jade brotherhood i think....
but even if there are few chests that could drop celestial stuff...
for celestial stuff xaquang skyway run 100% is the best choice (imo)....

hehe i wanted to chestrun for zodiac's too earlier^^
but its impossible... at least "normal" chestruns like anywhere else are impossible =)
In the Deep... you have to kill the Kanaxai's Aspect's to open the gates to other rooms... And in the first room there usually is no chest (at least i never had one in ~30 tries)
In Urgoz... you have to kill those Guardian Serpents to open gates...
And like in the Deep there usually is no chest in first room. (i had 1 chest in ~15-20 tries)...
If you want Zodiac's.... better just do fast runs with an exp team. might take ~30minutes for deep. will give you 2 inscribable drops from end chest, like 1-3 gold-drops from monsters and usually 4-7 chests to open =)

I found a map for the Boreas Seabed run, only the chest ON the bridge is quite hard to get back from, I'ma try some shadowstep, that should work.
I didn't find any maps for Xaquang Skyway and Pongmei Vally run yet tho, I KNOW they should be on here somewhere. I'm kinda new so I don't know where yet

tyvm, that saves me a lot of time. It sure beats looking for all possible chest spawns myself.
edit: darn, the halcoyn job is completed on all my charswho have cavalon
edit2: Got this quest on my warrior, please tell me this is doable on a war ^^.
The skyway run seems quite long if you do the full run, because you have to back-track and continue another way.

i find it easier to just do the run where u venture off to the left, zone, and run back through. I am only looking for celestial staves and scepters so it is pointless to run through the brotherhood in my case at least.

You don't have to run back... you die at the end of the left side. and get rezzed at the middle of the run. OR if you only want celestial stuff... just do the left part.
the right side of the run doesnt drop celestial stuff anyway (expect a chest that can spawn near the mantid boss)...

but form my experience its faster to /resign and start again from senjis....

Req7max from chest = not possible (anymore) IMO
Req8max from chest = try NM chestruns in Maguuma Jungle.. (check the req8 thread in traders outpost...there's a chestrun posted, that might drop req8's)...

I'm having trouble staying alive in Pongmei Valley tho.
Build:
Deadly paradox, SF, condit remove, shadow of hasta, dwarven stability, half dmg 25%run skill, dash, kurz regen and armor skill.
Any improvements suggested? anything rly even a totally diff build/class

Should I have higher unlucky, (doing it in HM) or... Lucky... cuz wouldn't it be easier to max lucky, after you have already maxed unlucky? Instead of, maxing lucky first.. then trying to max unlucky?

If running Xaquang for Celestial weapons, which is better: NM or HM?

@whiteasice: HM, cause nm gives canthan chests which don't count towards chestrunners' title...

i only need to break about another 840 picks for max unlucky title, so my question is where is a fast place to run for lucky points. i'll be doing it in nm for the extra % on retention rate but most of the runs i usually do take to long. i was thinking ascalon foothills or flame temple corridor in ascalon cause they are small zones but not sure how often or how many chests spawn there. any advice would be nice or just another fast zone would be good too

For Xaquang Skyway u can run even with a paragon in HM....chests always drop celestials but not low req unluckely.....haven't got any good drop from those chests.....

got the hang of pongmei ^^. The 3x incoming+fb really help.
System, do you run into the 'sewers' at pongmei or stay on the normal land?
If you run through the sewers you see all the chests, can u also do that if you don't?

if you mean with sewers the area where those am fah assassins/necros are... yes i do run there....
but usually i follow exactly the route i posted.... and if there is no chest you can see it before aggroing to many am fah...

Today I tried the chest run/farm in Domain of Fear during the quest "Holding the line".
Some Tyrian Titans spawn, they can be killed with a 55hp Spoil Victor and often a chest spwan that can drop a Magma Shield or Magma Arm or even Titan Armor.
Hadn't got any good drop in few runs, but i'm gonna try this again...

exacly, the am fah/afflicted place.
It's a relief to know you can pretty much always follow the route you posted because making that detour requires some skillcasting/time ^^.
I was worried I wouldn't be able to see the chestspawnspot at the portal to the tunnels if I didn't enter that place.
Going back always makes me hang on that hill, it goes further than most ppl would think. Including me

Gold drops I normally get 2 per run, sometimes more sometimes only 1 in NM.
HM yields about 4 - 5 chests with 1 necro tome & 3 golds from the run in 12 mins.
Got some Jeweled Daggers, added Measure for Measure to it & got 2 Sapphires from it xD.
This run takes about 7 mins to complete, once you're used to the spawns in the area.
I recommend using Shadow Form due to high amounts of necros, mesmers, etc in the area.

for plains i just start from champions dawn and head up the river, usually 1 chest
or you could head straight for the centre of the planes and u will find 1 aswell
i resign as soon i find the first chest
