Assassin / Dervish

Hi all,

Fairly new to GW - I have been playing Nightfalls and have enjoyed Dervish. I recently bought Factions and started Assassin.

I have read a lot of posts and want to try the Assassin primary from factions with the Secondary of Dervish but cannot find how to do that. Is it possible in PVE ?

I am at the Factions starting area and ready for second prof - level 4/5 - I cannot find anything on forums that shows me how other than you can move between chapters.

Any help would be really appreciated

I guess you could try the Critical Scythe build.
It's basically, assassin, high critical stuffs, a scythe, critical skills(gain health on crit, % chance to evade, renews on crit, gain energy on crit, ect).

now that you have Factions you should be able to create a sin in NF. Make a sin in NF and make your secondary proffession a Derv.

You can't do so. Factions=Assassin+Ritualist+Core, Nightfall=Dervish+Paragon+Core.

Hi Sorry - just a bit confused.

So can you build a Sin /Derv in PVE ?

I see there are heaps of posts for the critical scythe build - that's what I am really interested in creating. Just don't kow how to get from a assassin in Factions to once you are level 5 getting second prof of dervish.

Do you need to map travel somehow back to Nightfalls? If so - where can you do that?

You can't start off as a A/D, but you should be able to change your secondary profession to Dervish at either Senji's Corner in Cantha or the Great Temple of Balthazar on PvP Island, whichever you can get to first.

It was sending me crazy trying to find how to start that prof.

Will just try a Assassin / Warrior or Assassin / Monk and se how I go later.
