Elite Skill Tomes/Where to start price?

How much at this point would an Elite skill tome be going for? In particular an Elite Elementalist Tome.

I tried to buy a ranger one for 3k but the seller has said he'd already received an offer of 10k. 2 hours later he was still sapmming. I think he was just trying to get his own PC in game by seeing what was offered. I've seen several people offering to buy for 10k. At this current moment I feel 10k would be a good start but that in a few days prices will drop to be about 3k. That's what i hope anyways.

Honestly, they aren't worth buying for more than 3k - 4k, which should cover the cost for the signet and going out and getting it.

I've seen people selling Elite Warrior Tomes for 30k.
But realistically, I'm not going to be buying one for much above 4k. Anything more and it's better to just pay 1k for a Signet of Capture and then get to the boss.

Bought elite ranger tome for 2K, unlocked Dust Trap via Balthazar Priest and then my ranger who never even got to Elona mainland got himself a nice elite skill from NF. I guess i was lucky, but frankly they should limit the use to lvl 20 only, it would suck having a lvl 2 monk char with Word of Healing or warrior with Hundred Blades who just got to Shing Jea

imo i think the prices shud stay up and the drop rate lowered. i mean if u need a skill in torment, and ur monk is only tyrian, itll save u tons of time.

Mesmer tomes will sell 15k min right now.
As for me, I'm willing to pay alot for mesmer tomes because it sucks to set up a heroes/henchies group to cap an elite, and I have many pvp skills unlocked for mesmers.
But for popular pve chars that can setup a balanced heroes/henchies group easily to go cap a skill, like ele and warr for example, i'd rather buy a cap signet and kill a boss.
But that's just 1 person's demand....the numbers in the market will settle the price, we'll see....

The prices of the elite skill tomes are unstable. Some can be 3k, others 35k, depending on supply and demand and the market. But since farming is nerfed, I would expect these tomes to be 5-10k in the future (tomes are excluded from the new loot scale). But anyhow, for now, I want to get an elite skill Devastating Hammer for my warrior. Judging by the craziness, I might be better off continuing the storyline and use a signet of capture to get it rather than spending factions and then try and buy an elite tome (my pally is at the part where I have to go to Tannaki temple something place).
