Thoughts on treasure drops in hard mode

No sooner was I wondering about whether we would see things like Max Tribal axes start to drop when I see one 6-28 on sale. What are your thoughts on what else might drop out there in HM land?

Ehm everything might drop at max damage... But only once in a month :P

New weapons are almost impossible to get now, cause you can't farm them, and prices will be rising sky high. Or you must be lucky enough to find one in a team of 8, but what's the chance of that?

I'm not noticing much a difference to be honest. I can buy cheaper keys and face easier monsters in Normal Mode and get the same kinda drops I've been seeing (or not seeing at all) in Hard Mode.

I had to lol when I saw the 6-26 sickle for sale in the High end section that the seller "Had it for a few months" not sure why he felt the need to add that except for it's complete BS and he got it tonight. rofl

Just as funny is the new max damage Tribal Axe and how he is also trying to make it sound like he has had it and just now wants to sell it.

My first thought while seeing what the hard mode ettins were up to was that these 2 styles would finally be maxed and I'm sure some gold ones will be making there way to Ventaris for 100k +10,000 ectos lol

It would seem that the chance is the same of finding one solo now.

so far by my experience with hero's, is that the drops suck, more like a lack of drops. As for weapons, the only one that did drop a grape was ok, but nothing to rave about. I am more concerned with this so called tomes. I have yet to have one drop, and lock pics well I am still undecied about them.

With heroes or henchmen you can't expect to see what actually drops.
I did two zones for vanquisher with a group of 4 and saw 11 gold items and 3 or 4 tomes drop.
Seemed very high for gold drops IMO

I have had good luck i quess. Did the first 3 missions and bonuses in Prophesies and got 7 gold items so far ( in Hard mode). Ofcourse they all are crap, but still gold. And 2 lockpicks. Maybe my 2 months brake has made my drop rate high, i dunno.

anyone got something completely new? New skin or something? Didnt track down any for now...
except tomes.

Well I played some to test it out last night and cleared most of Pongemi Valley this morning and not one gold drop, not even a purple. I got the same old rotwallow fangs and non-max whites as always. Also, I paid 1.5k for a key thingy and it broke after one use. So all I got was a jade hammer out of it.
Why should some players be penalized (lockpicks) because they havent grinded out a title? So now I have to pay more than the grinders for keys, because mine are going to break after one use?

No new skins and nothing GREAT but I did get 3 purples and 1 gold from an hour of playing in hard mode. (vanquisher and a mish)

hehe, yeah, I know you. You'll go get some sleep, get up and you'll still think it's funny. lol

I've gotten probably 4-5 purples, 4-5 gold runes, and a green staff from around 200 kills, nothing great, but better than what I would get in normal mode for where im farming.

As for new skins, I just found a Ripper Blade, im not sure if its new, but its max damage, gold, and it only had the highly salvagable inscription.

Also, I looked on wiki and it seems that Ripper Blades are not new. Though they do seem kinda rare so good find.

Its good I guess. Just vanquished Old Ascalon with my bro and friend. Altogether we got 7 gold drops, 2 lockpicks, a few purples and whites.

A friend of mine got a Sephis req.11 15%^50 from some undead around Bergen Hot Springs. So why would we run Hells when we can find them more easily in Kryta ?
Concerning my drops, I got a Celestial Longbow, gold Staff and a nice grape Sword req.9 13%^50, same skin as Kanaxai's Edge.

Been doing Ascalon stuff in a group of 3-4 humans (Sometimes 1 hero), gold drops are definatly up...One run I got only one white and the rest were purple/gold near-max or max things...got a max Furious sword mod on my first drop out actually. Havn't gotten a skill tome yet, but I saw a guy get an Elite monk skill tome from the first boss we killed in the Northern Wall mission. And the gold....100g for a 4 person party is pretty darn good in my opinion. Compared to 100g for a 8 person party, that is.
