The Official "Guild Wars Is Dead"......Thread.

Yes after many previous "gw is dead threads" I can safely say that today it dies for many farmers across the land. Anet you have gone too far this time and I think the following picture sums up your "update" rather nicely......

Who cares?
GW is better than ever: now we have the entire game to replay in hard mode, and we have to play with good human players, no stupid tanking dunkoro.
If the only thing you like in Gw is farming, you better reconsider and play something else.
Today I did a mission in hard mode with friends, it was loads of fun, and I dropped a so called perfect sundering bow of fortitude.
Fun+good money.
Farming is dead? Good riddance!

This is very pathetic, GW is in no way dead, in case you have not noticed, not everyone was a sad fool who did nothing but solo farm 100% we are on this game, a lot of us actually enjoy mission, and guess what, there is such thing as PvP.

I hope the solo farmers do leave, and rid us of annoying threads like these, and mission outposts full of people just farming and not doing the mission, and people who have to abuse AoE or other skills because they don't want to resort to TEAMWORK (the whole idea of an online game) Goodbye solo farmers, hope the door bites you on the way out. (applying to those who did it 100% of the time naturally)

oh give me a break... hardcore solo farming was just short of an infinite money cheat. especially with builds that dont even require much attention, like the W/Rt solo farmers... Solo farming has been a horrible burden on the guildwars economy from the first time it was discovered. I'm glad to see it go, I just wish it was a couple years sooner. If it were not for solo farming ever being discovered, you wouldnt see near as much gold sale spam in places like temple of balthazar...

PVP sucks - Heroes ascent sucks hard time , relic runs in HOH ....wtf. You can`t play more then 3 build (SF spike, Para spike or 2 Sins 3 Ele )

you forget half this game like to solo and dont like groups and now ur making the rich richer and even harder for the poor to make cash i need to make 4000k now it will never happen until the next 2 years or so

Great job on nerfing farming its about time the insane inflation on items went down. This game was never ment to be played solo 55hp was abuse of game mechanics. Now if you want to farm its got to be in teams as it should be GJ Anet

there is nothing required in this game that costs anywhere near that much. the only things that will cost you anything near even 100k are optional just for looks things, which are SUPPOSED to be hard to get. It was an oversight that they were easy to get up until this point.

Guild Wars is not dead. I for one only started playing about a week ago. And I am loving it.

I have read a lot about this update and how some people are loving it and how the solo farmers are mostly hating it. Well from a new player's point of view everything makes sense about the update. But it also looks like everything I want to say has been said already.

This update makes it easier to find people to form a party with. A lot!

Anyways, I, and other new players are proof that Guild Wars is not dead.

Well, how will u get money? I farmed sometimes, a few ectos, to buy weapons for myself and for HEROES, because WE pay that too! Ok enjoy the game without money in it lol. Impossible, ask yourselves how many uber-l33t items do u get while doing missions? Not even a gold usually. Ok hard mode, but I dont think it'll balance it...
