If drop rates now scale based on group size, you should (in theory) get the same number of drops in a group of 6 as you do solo. So solo farming isn't needed.
But that raises an interesting point. I recently got my Ranger her obsidian armour. I was considering going for Monk obsidian, but I mean how the hell I am now going to raise the 1.2 Million Gold I need when I can't get any cash from solo farming, I honestly have no idea.
If you are going to suggest "power trade lol" or "halls lol" or any other NON-FARM RELATED bull, please don't even bother. This is the farming section. Ktnx.
Does anybody know if the ecto-drop-rate/shard-drop-rate is now its usual + the chance you don't get a drop due to not having a group?
Anyways...open discussion. Here are my 2 cents shortened.
1] Yay I can 55 Monk. The AI is pretty much how it was, and dual UW should be good since...

Still only 2 drops from 10 minotaur. What the hell? No it is not anti-farm code, since thats the second time I have farmed it in the history of my Monk. Roshi_ikkyu
How about reading one of the [add number of current solo farming nerf threads here] threads about it, including the 2 current threads that have topic discussion like wildfire!
And perhaps u missed read the other 100 millions threads about it but drops are now based on ACTIVE party size, flagging doesn't seem to work. But you would know that if you read the other old more discussed threads on the topic!
