UPGRADED CHESTS *Possible spoilers?*

Okay enough of the rants about the nerf to solo farming. I have a hunch here. Since all chests in hard mode have been upgraded the odds of getting rare items has increased via chests not farming. Here are a list of things to look forward to...

1. Max dmg Tyrian Sickles and Tribal Axes

2. Since all monsters in Hard Mode are upgraded with higher lvls all items that were non-max before have a better chance of being max now. eg. Gates of Kryta etc...etc...

3. This is just a guess. But with the better chests in hard mode would it not be possible then to obtain "GOLD MAX DMG NON-INSCRIBABLE CRYSTALLINES/DWARVEN AXES" in the Kilroy Stonekin keyless chests?

4. Colossal Scimitars should theoretically be more common now reason being I used to run chests in Barbarous Shore while killing off Corsairs in hopes of obtaining a C. Scimitar. 9/10 chests were always grape and the drops always mediocre. Now with hard mode your chests theoretically are 9/10 gold and the Corsairs will undoubtedly drop better items. I don't have hard facts to confirm the percentage of gold to purple ratio but it's safe to say you'll get more golds in Hard Mode.

5. Elemental Swords... ^^ similar to above.

6. Rare items which used to be rare will drop alot more often. Reason being most chests we opened before were often times purple. In hard mode that is not so much the case. Dual Gothics, Magmas, Guardian of the Hunt, Eternal Shields, Fellblades etc.. etc... (the list goes on)

#3 - rumored to be correct...Kilroy Stonekin keyless chests appear to be dropping gold
#4 - absolutely correct...and with the loot scaling fixed the C.Scimitar is no longer "rare"
#5 - still waiting on results

This is very true, but only to a point. Anet seems to be headed in a direction (yes, I know they are trying to kill solo, and possibly this game) that favors speed, in both this and the update previous.
Thus CRs fit the very essence of speed. However, consider this: EVERYONE gets better chests. EVERYONE can get one of these items. While the numbers have not been released yet, I believe that prices will drop with availibility.

well you cant really solo farm so they will still probably be rare. As for sickles and tribal axes im not to sure but that would be cool to have a max dmg tribal.

heres the thing the rare stuff will become alot less rare in the coming months... the reason being after 2 runs of GoK with a build im not going to tell u i got 2 max dmg gold sephis axes... to bad they had crap mods but still that shows how easy they are to get

so considering u can't bot anything anymore the 100s of chinese farmers will out farm all theses things we want. then sell them to the point of being useless...

then perhaps ecto and shards and even fow armor vaule will crash...

so maybe within the next year or 2 everything will be as cheep as 1-25k?

then we move on to gw2...
