Weren't we told an improved way to get Lightbringer and Sunspear titles was coming?

Weren't we told that a "new" or "better" way of getting the Lightbringer and Sunspear titles was going to come? I may be remembering wrong, but I thought we were told an improvement was coming. Do we really need to just do constant grinding?

I hope its not just the 4 point weekend?

If you farm for LB in hard mode you can get more points per kill.

Well in addition to that, normal mode difficulty was reduced as well as proximity of enemies in the Realm of Torrent (namely the margonite run) so if hard mode farming is too hard for you you can go back to normal mode where it is easier than before. Thus, you can actually get the 1k-1200 LB points per hour. I haven't tried it yet since I'm working on Guardian/Legendary protector/guardian whatever the title's called, but I assume this is true.

At least Sunspear is finally achievable...woohoo!

Well, in Hard Mode you will get 6 Lightbringer points for each enemy slain under the designated hunt. With the weekend it is possible to actually get 12 Lightbringer Points for one enemy, thus, depending on how much time you have, bringing an abrupt end to all the grinding.

This may be a stupid question and if it is, forgive me but please don't flame me.

I understand how we can get the LB points, but exactly how, do we get the additional SS points if we've already finished the game?

I believe the only way to finish it is in hard mode. Maybe you can get the bounties from the shrines in hard mode.

in hard mode ucan get sunspear points from rez portals guys, i farm at gates of desolation u get 8points/kill bosses get that 8 + extra 8 points, plusweekend doubles that, i got it down to 66 kills gets you 1k ss points in 10 min map out and redue to avoid long runs between stuff and fighting stuff u not getting points for. got my spearmarshall in short time on my necro

In hard mode sunspear bounties even on on Elona(island, not campaign) are 4 per kill + boss bonus (x2 for the weekend). You can get a lot more than that obviously in later areas.

OMG I just love this new stuff. Mirror Of Lyss, start from Dzangoiwetu;lsd whatever and kill the elementals, and then you go near the entrance of Kodash from there and kill the Ether Lord boss. The boss gives you 6 LB points PER elemental you killed that run (up to 150) but on double weekend it can be 300! FROM ONE KILL! I've doubled my amount of LB since last night. Almost to 10,000.
