OMG, thank you a-net!

I started playing this game almost the years ago, the 28th of april 2005, and my first character Halmyr was born, one month later I have arrive Droknar, and buy the Knight armor, and I feel in love with it! With it, I have been throught ever update, nerf, events, I have seen people come and ragequit, but I stayed silently on the side, accepting what ever A-net had to give us, bad or good, without a complain (or very litle). Every chapter, even with new and better looking armor, with better stats system, I have kept my knight armor.

It may not have the best stats and many people might not like it, but the feeling the knight armor was unmatch by any armor, I felt tall and grand, a simple warrior that laught at the enemy no matter how sinister the situation look, only to come out alive ( well most of the time).

One of these great exmaple is the first time I beat THK, this was before THK was made easy. We had one player drop, leaving us with 7, t.he others wanted to quit, but I said to push-on. One of the player was a completle noob that light the torches and did not listen to us, but even with the odds direly agaits us, we beat them, and went on to the fire ring to give the Lich a good ole can of woop @$$. All in my Knight armor.

Even in my own guild people knew me by distinguish Knight armor. Many times have I come close to buying a 15k set, but I never did, only darering to dream that one day, the 15k knight armor would come. And after almost 2 years of dreaming, because of the odds were against me, it apears.

Minutes before I fell asleep, I check the updates, and what do I see, I was struck speechless. I run to my computer, turn in on, as soon as I'm on, my guildies start cheering for me and praising the new armor. In less then 10minutes, I have my armor and I am Aww struck by its looks.

I have always enjoy A-net Work no matter how bad it gets, but this one beats them all without a fight.Thank you A-net, you have made a very loyal player very, very happy

And you can be sure I am lookign forward for GW:EN and GW2.

And a message to all those who think the 15k Knight is ugly, or that any armor or looks is ugly "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

Admins and mods, please feel free to close this thread if must be, I just needed to let my feeling knownes to A-net for my personale favorit update ever, this is going to be hard to beat.

I've been waiting for 15k knights since beta. :/

Lighting the torches really doesn't make THK any harder. It only brings like two extra mobs...

our oh days, th torches are easy, but before, it was a whole other story, mobs came in faster, and those extra mod did not help, and that was my first time throught THK too.

Same story here. Been playing since Sept of 2005, and never bought a set of 15k, because there was never one I liked for my fav character (a warrior). Knights was always my favorite, and now I have 15k knights!

Anet gets two thumbs up from me for that update.

I have this feeling they might keep adding armor to the original campaigns after this. Even after Eye of the North, they really have nothing to do to GW except for updating and adding stuff to the original content. I honestly believe this is the tip of the Ice-berg to what A-net can accomplish, and who knows we might see a “design armor contest” down the line. I guess seeing one of you guys happy about something kind of brings up my level of confidence in A-net.

Why did they add 15k knights? Does that mean warriors had less to start with, or do they have more than the other classes?

Koudelka they had less to start with. So gratz, i personally think 1.5 looks cooler then 15k but w/e.

dunno why really wars have 3 available functionalities in proph like the other classes(ranger and ele have 4), knights was one of the sets in proph with no 15k. i guess next new set is another tattoo design since there are 2, 1.5k and only 1, 15k(8k w/e you get the point) since everything else has a 15k set.

i thought they wudnt do it as nf and factions came out no more proph updates but finally 15k glads
and if any1 looks at the art books that come with some of the gw games like mine u will notice along with female warrior with 15k glads there is a helmet that didnt exist in game i thought they'd never bring 15k glads helmet but to my yayayayaya they did female warrior 15k glads set ftw *all tho i have 10k now and my female warrior is a unascned lv20 whos like 3/4months old*

I actually enjoyed reading this post, i feel happy for you, and I'm sure Anet also does. Enjoy the armor!
