I'd rather try my luck on salvaging. If you get all 3 upgrades out you'll get a nice bit of cash. i don't think that sword itself can net you more then 15k.

I'd salvage..

+30 > zealous > 15^50

If you keep the skin, you might get 10k or so for it. As it is, you could probably hit 15-20k if you're lucky (the sword is very functional), but it'll be a hard slog and you'll get that for the +30 alone.
