Question about tomes

I've recently played hard mode over the weekend. A great addition to guildwars in my opinion. I've found some tomes in elona while going for my vanquisher title, but out of these zones in Tyria:

Deldrimor Bowl
Scoundrel's something(outside gates of kryta)
Griffon's Mouth
The Area outside of Yaks Bend
The Area North of the Deldrimor bowl
The Area North of the Area outside of Yaks Bend
(Sorry, I forgot the names of so many)

I have found none.

Not once did I get a Tome in Tyria though. Are Tome drops only available in Elona?

Nope, I had 2 elite monk ones out chests in The Great Northern wall, while my mate had 2 normal warrior and a normal monk tome dropped. And in Cantha we had some normal ele tome drops and I had 2 normal warrior tome drops.
It's all about luck I reckon ^^
